Customers Say
Adjustable dumbbells offer great value, easy weight changes, and sturdy build. Some find grips uncomfortable and nuts loosen over time. Ideal for beginners and home workouts.

A good product, good price
Bought a few weeks ago, a really good bundle for the price (£20). On opening the box I found them quite grubby and greasy, washed them with soapy water before use. Easy to assemble and use, I think a good deal. So far a pretty good product

Just the job
A great little set of weights, easy to adjust the weights with a simple nut to unscrew by hand. Well made. Great price.

Easy to use set of dumbbells
Easy to use set of dumbbells - add up to a little more than 10kg each side (2x2.5kg + 4x1.25kg + roughly 0.7kg for the handle). Plenty of weight for a little upper body work, to build a little arm & shoulder muscle for my main rowing sessions. I like the spinlock fixings. The only reason not to give 5* is the handle is quite thin. Great value in the sale!

Perfect!
These are perfect for me, I have no issues with the grip or the weights coming loose as other reviewers have mentioned. Cannot fault them at the price!

Straightforward
Adjustable to your needs, comes with a recommendation of how to exercise which muscle group.
Bracy
Bad
Just bought straight out the box weights were cracked and others were flimsy
Bad
Filthy and greasy
I was very disappointed when this arrived as it was absolutely filthy, covered in grease, oil and dirt. I had to wash and clean everything multiple times but still it leaves a greasy residue every time that I use it. Aside from this, it works well and is easy to use, but the greasiness makes it unpleasant to use. Would not recommend.

Good weights, needs grip cushioning
They are good, and reasonably priced, you’ll probably do well with them. Only trouble really is the grip. It’s quite a small metal handle in the middle so was rough on my hands on first use with 5kg on the bar. But a grip of some kind, I even just wrapped kitchen roll around the handle to give some padding and it worked great. Weirdly they do have a bit of a smell, guess that’s the vinyl. But not something to put you off getting them, just stops it being perfect for more stars.

Hi there.
I can advise that the total weigh of the Opti Vinyl Dumbbell Set - 20kg is 20kg. That is 10kg per bar and can be adjusted so that the minimum weight on each bar is 2.5kg, so you can start at the lowest option and work up from there. If you experience pain while using this product, please speak to your GP.
Thanks for using Q&A.
