Bought when the tv in my kitchen died. Wasn't aware of what a " fire tv" was. Thought I could just attach a serial and do a channel search. But, I was led on a bewildering journey involving my smart phone to to set up this tv and am still not sure if I did it right. However, I am pleased with the picture quality, the brightness and the contrast. I don't like a very bright intense picture & this one is quite natural, so good for me. The sound is a little thin, but that's Ok for me too. It's a nuisance that I have to remember to switch on the Wi-Fi in order to use the TV and it takes a while to connect and go to live tv, which is all I watch. Tech is not my forte but guess we have to move with the times. This TV was a very reasonable price & does so much, so it's good value for money. I am still trying to make sense of the instructions for all the functions it performs. Only issue was the set up. Got there in the end but not pensioner friendly. So far I am pleased with the performance of the TV.

Great value for money!
For the money we were very pleasantly surprised how good this TV is. We only wanted something small for the bedroom and while we had originally selected a Toshiba model, before noticing it was out of stock, this has been a great alternative. The sound is OK but I've now improved it by connecting a Bluetooth speaker I usually use in the garden. Overall we are pleased with our purchase.
