About this product
The Coast Classic 4 Panel PIR Lantern brings motion-activated lighting to your front door or garden entrance. The traditional four-panel design with die cast aluminium finish suits period homes and modern builds alike. The PIR sensor detects movement within its twelve-metre, one-hundred-and-ten-degree range, switching on automatically when you arrive and turning off when there's no activity. Mains powered, so no batteries to replace. The IP44 rating protects it from rain and outdoor conditions year-round.
Requires one E27 edison screw LED bulb, sold separately. Compatible with low energy bulbs up to ten watts for efficient running costs. Wall fixings and fitting instructions come in the box, with two screw holes for secure mounting beside doorways or porch walls. The die cast aluminium body stands up to regular outdoor exposure. The white finish keeps it looking clean and complements painted woodwork or rendered walls. Energy class A rated for low consumption when paired with the right bulb.

Nice light for a tidy price
I bought this based on strong recommendations to replace a similar one that was way past its best. This light has a nice, compact design. It has glass rather than perspex surrounding the bulb, and glass gives a better look in my opinion. Easy to adjust motion setting activation and easy to install. I recommend it.

Nice goodlooking light
Bought this light as a replacement for my old one that had degraded with time.Easy to assemble and easy to install.Good detection range and excellent light with a cool white led bulb.my only problem was adjusting it for time and daylight sensitivity,the adjustment screws are very small and not very well marked. making it a little difficult to set when it is 8ft up on a house wall.Still well please with my purchase.

Very pleased so far. Bought to replace broken light with only lasted short of 2 years (not from argos) and this was very disappointing. Hoping this light lasts longer. Price good, not the cheapest but bought in case of any issues and would expect argos to honour any problems and is local 😉

Depth: 3.3cm Width: 11.1 Height: 16.6h
Please be advised that, while it is possible the weight of the item (900g) may not be too heavy to fix it to UPVC, do so at your own risk.

You have to twist the cover of the PIR for the controls, you can the adjust how long and also how sensitive the sensor is. (sorry no pic)

The controls are beneath the ‘eyelid’ (the cover over half of the top of the unit). You rotate the ‘eyelid’ anti-clockwise to reveal the controls which are underneath.

The product comes with a prefitted terminal/connector block. Installer would need to run supply wiring to this.
