About this product
Whether it's for security reasons or to stop you from having to search in the dark for your front door key, this elegant lantern will light up the exterior of your home in style. Traditionally shaped with a die cast white aluminium finish, this outdoor light is perfect for popping by the front door. The PIR sensor turns on the light, giving you a warm welcome, when you're in its 12-metre, 110-degree range, and turn off automatically when there's no movement.
IP44 Rating - Durable material ideal for outdoor conditions.

Just purchased this for our new house. Looks great. Motion detectors is great And we picked a nice bright bulb so it does the job nicely. Very happy. Electrician wired it in no bother.

Very pleased so far. Bought to replace broken light with only lasted short of 2 years (not from argos) and this was very disappointing. Hoping this light lasts longer. Price good, not the cheapest but bought in case of any issues and would expect argos to honour any problems and is local 😉

Looks good and importantly, it works as it should
At last, an outdoor light that actually works! Bought two floodlights with bult in LED lights (not from Argos I hasten to add) and neither of them worked. Came on and off at random, flickered etc. So called progress with lights you cannot replace the bulb for. So, having read the reviews for this lantern light I decided to give it a go. Good price. Yes, quite fiddly to put together as others have noted. Not sure why it can't come with the four glass panels already in place? But, put it up and it worked a dream. Easy to change settings. The bulb can be replaced when necessary. Looks stylish. Early days for longevity of course but so far I'm a happy customer. I'd buy it again, put it that way.

Well, it's a light and it works. It took ages to install and I nearly died of the cold but it works. I marvel each time I go outside and it's still not blown away. Every time I come home it lights up and kisses me in its splendour. (No. Sorry. I got mixed up there.) Perhaps the superglue will melt in summer and it will fall off.

Is well made and the PIR wiring is readily accessible in the event of future possible PIR failure making it possible to convert to an ordinary light, unlike the unit it replaced.

You have to twist the cover of the PIR for the controls, you can the adjust how long and also how sensitive the sensor is. (sorry no pic)

The controls are beneath the ‘eyelid’ (the cover over half of the top of the unit). You rotate the ‘eyelid’ anti-clockwise to reveal the controls which are underneath.

The product comes with a prefitted terminal/connector block. Installer would need to run supply wiring to this.
