Once you get past a few design quirks, it becomes a genuinely impressive grooming tool. Pros • Exceptionally well made – the build quality feels solid and reliable. • Very easy to handle – its light weight makes it comfortable to manoeuvre, even during longer grooming sessions. • Cuts amazingly well – the blades are sharp, consistent, and deliver a very clean finish. • Ultra‑light in the hand – ideal for travel or everyday use without fatigue. Cons • Uses a bespoke Philips charging lead – a standard USB‑A to USB‑C setup would be far more convenient, especially when travelling. The proprietary cable means carrying an extra lead unnecessarily. • Cuts very short at the smallest setting – great for precision, but you need to be careful to avoid going shorter than intended. • Comb attachment is difficult to remove – it requires more force and fiddling than expected. • No carry case included – surprising for a travel‑friendly device. Overall Despite the frustrations—mainly the proprietary charger, the tricky comb removal, and the lack of a carry case—the BT3615 shines where it matters most: cutting performance and handling. With a generic USB‑C charging option and a simple carry pouch, this could easily be the best trimmer I’ve ever used. As it stands, once you overcome the initial quirks, it’s still an excellent grooming tool

I didn’t realise how good it would be.,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On opening the box I initially noticed how basic looking the packaging was. Taking it out of the box I really liked the colour combination of the beard trimmer but was surprised at how simple it seemed with a charger and instructions. I later went on to realise, that was all I needed to get a fantastic trim. I started with reading the instructions and then charging the beard trimmer. Once I was ready to use it, I simply adjusted the guard to my right setting which was super easy to do and i was good to go. I’ve always had a problem with corded trimmers as they get in the way and found that being cordless made it so easy to use. I was so happy with how smoothly it glided through the stubble. I have had previous expensive brands that have snagged and tugged at the stubble when cutting and this was effortless. I have charged this once in 3 weeks so it has great battery life and is powerful with little effort needed. I would definitely recommend this beard trimmer and have nothing but good feedback. Great Little Beard Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Series 3000 Beard Trimmer is a great little product for those guys who want things easy, simple and straightforward. One button to turn it on or off and one dial to determine the length you want to trim down to.....it's as easy as that. It's an ideal size, good for the bearded traveller, as it won't take up much space in the washbag. Not too small and fiddly so you can get your hand around it and not too big and cumbersome so you can actually see what you're doing. The battery is long-lasting and the motor has ample power to get into the thickest of beards. My only bugbear is it wouldn't trim around the Adam's Apple due to the angles but a little stretching of the neck sorted that out. So all in all, very happy with the product and will be in my washbag whenever I'm on my travels.

OMG Rounded tips are the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great budget trimmer... Rounded tips are the future and need to be implemented on all trimmers going forward, what a game changer! Charges quickly from USB, holds charge for weeks. Trims neatly and consistently, with the comb off it's nice and short. Easy spinner for selecting length, though it loses a point for only having one comb doing short lengths up to 10mm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beard trimmer is amazing. It is so effective and is able to trim larger beards with easy. I found that this is better than my Gillette beard trimmer too. This is that good it could probably shave your head. When using it I found I didn't have to re do as many attempts over previous areas shaved like other trimmers. 10/10 amazing item

Quick easy & reliable beard trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Philips Beard Trimmer 3000 (BT3617/15) and it’s been really solid. It charges fast, is dead easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time so I’m not constantly thinking about plugging it in. It trims smoothly and comfortably, and while I’m not a massive fan of the light blue colour (that’s just me being picky), performance-wise I can’t really fault it. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense trimmer that does exactly what you want.

It’s incredibly easy to handle thanks to the ergonomic grip and lightweight design – no slipping or fatigue even during detailed edging around the cheeks and neckline. The rounded blades are gentle on skin, no tugging or irritation, and the 60-minute runtime is more than enough for multiple sessions. Cleanup is quick under the tap too. This thing delivers salon-like results at home without any hassle!
