Samsung Buds heading in the right direction!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions: the new transparent clamshell case looks slick on a desk, but the buds themselves are the real story. Samsung went with an "open-fit" stem design for the standard Buds4 this year, meaning there are no squishy silicone ear tips. They have a brushed-metal "blade" stem with pinch controls that took me about ten minutes to get the hang of. Because they don't jam into your ear canal, I wore them for five hours straight yesterday without any ear fatigue. They’re crazy comfortable, but I haven't taken them for a run yet to see if they stay put while sweating. For open buds, they sound massive out of the box. The bass kicks way harder than I expected. However, the Active Noise Cancelling is... well, it's limited by physics. Because your ear canal isn't sealed off, turning on ANC feels more like taking the edge off background noise rather than silencing it. It muted the hum of my fridge but I could still hear my keyboard clacking away while working. The head gestures are my favourite thing so far. A spam number called while my hands were full making dinner, and I just aggressively shook my head side-to-side to reject it. It felt a bit ridiculous, but it worked perfectly on the first try. I haven't had a chance to properly test the live Gemini AI translation or the personalized EQ yet - I'll save that for the deep dive. So far, if you hate the plugged-up feeling of traditional earbuds, these are incredibly promising right out of the gate.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product exceeds my expectation as i was not expecting it to be this good, listening to music with this buds4 is heavenly, it filters the noise allowing you to pick up every bit of the lyrics. setting it up is as easy as it gets. i have used in it in a busy train station, warehouse environment and was able to enjoy the experience without the outside noise overpowering it

Great earbuds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Buds 4 definitely feel premium for the price, and the sound quality is really good, with rich audio and nice bass. The touch controls on the sides are a nice touch, and the head gestures to answer and decline calls are an awesome feature, plus the charging box looks very fresh. My only gripe is that you don't get any charging cables with them, which is a bit annoying. Otherwise, they look great and feel fantastic. Don't forget to download the Samsung wearable app for additional features if you're not using a Samsung phone.

Decent earbuds very convenient features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using these for a short while now I've found the sound quality is very good and the audio, however, this depends quite heavily on how the buds fit or are positioned. The active noise cancelling and ambient mode work well, and are easy to toggle. In particular the feature to select between just 2 of the 4 modes is very handy. The controls are responsive and easy to use, although adjusting the volume can feel a bit difficult depending on how the buds are positioned. The battery life unfortunately feels a bit inconsistent. At times one of the buds would drop down to around 10 or 15% after near 1 hours of use, while the left was around 40%. Overall, they are a decent pair of buds with good sound and convenient features, but they do come with a few flaws that may effect the experience.

Brilliant sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed straight away. Even just opening them, they feel really nice quality — the case, the design, everything looks and feels well made. The sound is really clear and crisp, and works well for everything I’ve tried so far. The noise cancelling is actually really good too — it adjusts automatically and blocks out more than I expected, especially when you’re out and about. They’re also comfortable to wear for longer periods, which makes a big difference. The battery life holds up well, so I’m not constantly worrying about charging them. This is the first pair I’ve bought brand new for myself, and I’m genuinely really happy with them. Definitely feels like a good purchase.

Does the work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The buds are really good when you use it purely for calls abd listening to music and videos. I do love the packaging and style as its very different from the previous ones. The aesthetic added to it is quite cool and is to my liking. Silver and white is a good combination. Charges fast and the quality of sound is ok. I still am going back to my buds pro though because of the advance features its got like complete noise cancellation and the auperp quality of sound. You can seperate any sound which is really good. But over all for basic functions, the Buds 4 is highly recommended. Amazing value for money.

Better than Buds3
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so looking forward to trying the new version of the buds and they didn't disappoint! As before very easy to pair to my phone almost instant an off you go. They fitted perfectly in my ears no issues or concerns of them falling out, the sound so much clearer no background noise, just perfect. Battery lasts a good while just as good as the previous ones. The pods are lightweight you dont even feel them in your ears. I have listened to music and podcasts and music and they work brilliant. I would highly recommend these to friends and family.

Good product, poor fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 make a strong first impression with their clean, compact design and lightweight feel. They slip into the ear easily enough, but once you start using them properly, the fit becomes a real problem, getting a proper seal is surprisingly difficult. They tend to sit on the edge of the ear canal rather than creating that snug, in‑ear fit you’d expect, and that one issue affects almost everything else. When the seal is right, even briefly, the Buds 4 actually sound very good. There’s clear treble, nicely balanced mids and enough low‑end weight to keep things lively. But the moment the buds loosen even slightly – which they do often – the sound quality changes completely. The bass drops off, the clarity suffers, and everything starts to feel thin and airy. You can tell the hardware is capable, but you rarely hear it performing at its best because of how easily the fit shifts. The same problem carries over to ANC. Samsung’s noise cancelling has definitely improved over the years, but ANC can only do so much if outside noise is leaking in around the ear tips. With the Buds 4, ambient sound gets in too easily, and as a result the ANC just can’t keep up. It does an acceptable job in quiet indoor settings, but as soon as you’re outside or anywhere with background noise, that lack of seal makes the noise cancellation feel noticeably weaker. It’s a shame because everything else works well. The connection is stable, the controls are responsive, battery life is solid, and the Samsung ecosystem integration is as smooth as ever. But the fit is such a fundamental part of the experience that it overshadows all those strengths. Overall, the Galaxy Buds 4 feel like earbuds with plenty of potential held back by one major flaw. If your ears happen to match the shape Samsung designed these for, you might have a great time with them. For most people, though, the inconsistent fit means the sound and ANC simply never perform the way they should.

What an upgrade!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous set of buds are about 5 years old so the upgrade to the new buds 4 has been incredible! The noise cancelling is fantastic. At the gym the was a class going on and once the headphones were in it became background noise so my podcast was crystal clear. They also fit perfectly in my ear which is something I've struggled with before woth other brands Would highly recommend to anyone

Excellent design, great pair of buds!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed. First off, the design is super sleek. They look really clean and minimal, and the case feels compact enough to easily carry around in a pocket. Definitely one of the better-looking pairs of earbuds I’ve owned. Delivery was also surprisingly fast. They arrived earlier than expected, which was a nice bonus. Setup couldn’t have been easier. I’m not exaggerating when I say I was literally listening to music within about a minute of opening the box. You just open the case, connect on your phone, and that’s basically it. No complicated steps or apps needed. The only slightly odd thing was that they don’t include a charging cable in the box. Not a huge issue if you already have USB-C cables around, but it did catch me off guard since most earbuds usually include one. Overall though, great first impressions: stylish design, ridiculously easy setup, and quick delivery. Definitely happy with them so far.
