I bought this a few weeks ago, it was easy enough to assemble and took me just about an hour on my own. While it is very big with lots of storage space and monitor dove, the actual desk part is relatively small, you cannot lean on it and also have a keyboard as the monitor stand takes up too much room. It is also very wife, which works for me but is something to watch out for.

Purchased this for my son as he had a large tv that needed to be kept away from my dogs this was ideal as he has his sound bar also on the desk looks good and will work well when he gets a new computer or laptop

Perfect size and we got it next day!
Me and my partner had just moved into our place and she needed a strong desk as she has music equipment and a pc to use for it, we needed something quick as we had already moved but a lot of options meant that we either could have something very cheap and weak and get it right away, or something expensive and what we needed and had to wait over a week for it. Luckily for us we got recomended by a friend to use Argos, and use the click and collect option to pick it up from a nearby store. We ended up on this one as it was exsactly what she needed. The top shelf ontop of the desk can be removed, which is what my partner did, and she used the left side to place her pc, whilst using the right side of the desk for storage. It was so easy to assemble, it was easier than the storage units that are just made up of several blocks, we had a fun time making it due to this. The quality of it is strong, my partner has a monitor stand that hooks onto the desk and it has no issues, the desk holds all her music items, and is big enough to give her space, overall we have had this desk for a while now and its exseeded our expectations.

The supplier has advised the following for the Home Gaming Desk White:
"Unfortunately the strength and stability on the desk rely on all components being fixed as per the instructions." So, no, you cannot remove one of the wooden supports at the bottom.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Argos Home Gaming Desk - Black.
The desk is designed to be built with the cube on the outside and has been tested this way.
We wouldn’t recommend changing the build.

I wondered this too. Checked out the instructions online and the bottom shelf inside the right hand side is moveable or removable. So can fit an upright Xbox PS5 etc there.

Having checked I can see the monitor stand is 100cm x 30cm it also sits 10cm above the desk.

Having checked the assembly instructions for this I would advise that although you can build this without the tower shelf we would advise against it as it does contribute to the stability of the desk.
