If I could give it no stars I would. This is the worst handmixer I have ever owned. There is no difference in the speed settings- they are all very slow. The beaters are way too long and the whole thing is too flimsy. I will be returning the item as it is useless to me. I have bought Bosch appliances in the past and they have been good quality. This item is not!

Good slow speed
I bought this as a gift for my Mum. She wanted a hand mixer that would allow her to make buttercream without clouds of icing sugar covering the kitchen. Every other hand mixer had a slow speed that was far too fast. This hand mixes a slow speed is slow. You can make buttercream without the clouds of icing sugar. Having said this, it is quite a gentle mixer. But it will make a batch of cake butter perfectly nicely. She’s very pleased with it.

a more powerful motor than most small handmixers
collected the mixer saturday morning and i used it in the afternoon to make a gingerbread loaf it is a very quiet running machine and it turned out an excellent gingerbread.it beats my old wooden mixing spoon and i hope it gives me years of service although i usually bake once a week and my next project will be a victoria sponge cake and they are difficult to produce a consistent result.

Poor. From start to finish.
Argos A joke. I saw online what I wanted, they said order now and collect immediately in store. I didn't order as they don't tell the truth. Went to the store and tried to order on their monitor, collect tomorrow they said. They get you to order online then and only then they'll tell you it isn't available until morning, once they have your money. The mixer itself? Getting the paddles in and out is a bit of a challenge, it's a Bosch and should be way better than it is. Then we have the collection process. I don't think I've ever collected anything from Argos that didn't look like it had already been opened, the location tabs weren't in place how they should be and one of the pins on the plug was actually stuck through the side of the box. The mixer eventually did what was required but Argos aren't a good experience.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch MFQ3030GB CleverMixx Hand Mixer - White: The cable does feed out from the appliance to right hand side as the user is holding it and it is fixed in that position. The appliance is suitable for both right and left handed users.

Yes you can though I would say depends also on the density of the pastry of what you are trying to make. Some pastries are better to be made by hand. But the ones that don’t can be used with the kneading tools.
