Great value for money - performs fine & Android 16
I needed a new work phone with 2 criteria(*): the latest Android version and as cheap as possible. I had read reviews online that this model's performance, camera etc. were not up to 2026 standards, but as these were not important I bought it anyway. So it's been a surprise that I can find nothing wrong with this phone at all! The screen is very bright and clear. The camera seems absolutely fine (even though I'm not going to use it). Battery life seems good. Response is pretty snappy when browsing or using it for my work applications (* thankfully it could set up the separate work app container and VPN, which was the third thing I needed). The build feels a little light and cheap but I actually like the rubberised non-slip back - so I don't have to use the supplied clear case. The protruding camera island means it doesn't lie flat on a table but that's the same for most phones these days.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for SIM Free TCL K70 4G 128GB Mobile Phone - Midnight Black.
The TCL K70 4G does NOT support wireless charging. This model can only be charged using a wired 18W USB Type‑C 2.0 charger.
