Quality coffee at home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this coffee machine for a couple of weeks, and I'm really happy with my experience so far! I found it straightforward to set up, with simple instructions on the app and on the machine's digital display. The digital display feels premium, making it easy to browse the extensive drinks menu. Drinks can be altered to the user's taste, and profiles can be used to save favourites. The milk canisters are easy to attach and detach, and I found it useful that these can be stored in the fridge to keep milk fresh. The coffee dispenser easily slides upwards and downwards to accommodate different sized mugs. The machine makes a bit of noise, but no more than you would expect of a coffee machine. I liked that the grinder setting was easily adjustable, meaning you can tweak this to get the setting best for your beans. The machine produces excellent quality coffee, and I have enjoyed both the hot and chilled varieties. Using this machine is a great experience from start to end.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like most about the Philips Aromis 8000 is how easy it is to customise your coffee. The different drink options are handy, the touch controls are responsive, and it heats up really quickly. It feels well made and has been a great machine to use every day.

A Coffee Machine Built for Everyday Convenience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the Philips Aromis Series 8000 is an average coffee machine for busy households. The build quality is excellent, and it has a premium feel from the moment you start using it. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, making it quick to choose drinks and adjust settings without any confusion. I also liked that it includes both hot and cold jugs, which adds flexibility for different drinks - hot and cold. The option to change the coffee strength and independently adjust the coffee and milk volumes means everyone can create a drink that suits their taste. On the downside, the machine is noticeably noisy when making coffee, and the flavour, while good, doesn’t quite reach the standard of a manually prepared espresso. It’s best suited to people who value speed and convenience over perfection.

Great for all coffee lovers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The **Philips Café Aromis Series 8000 Fully Automatic Coffee Machine** is an excellent coffee machine packed with features and customisation options. While it's a little larger than I'd prefer, it still fits well on most worktops. A more compact design would make it even better for smaller kitchens. Setup is quick and simple, with only a few removable parts. The instruction booklet guides you through the initial setup, and the intuitive digital display makes customising your drinks easy. The large bean hopper means less frequent refilling, and the adjustable grinder settings let you personalise each coffee to your taste. The wide variety of drinks is impressive, and you can fine-tune and save your favourites to your own profile for quick access. The touchscreen is easy to use, and connecting the machine to the app via Wi-Fi unlocks even more features, including remote drink preparation and extra coffee recipes. My favourite, especially in the summer, is the iced coffee. The Café Aromis also includes separate milk containers for hot and cold milk, making it even more versatile. It's easy to clean and maintain, making it perfect for everyday use. Overall, it's a fantastic coffee machine that delivers great coffee and plenty of customisation. My only minor criticism is that the design could be a little sleeker. **9/10.**

Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been testing this machine for 2 weeks now and have found it very easy to use even for bean-to-cup beginners. The paper instructions which come with it are however useless! Use the touchscreen, which is excellent. There are useful user profiles for everyone in your household to save their favourite coffees. This machine makes hot and cold milk drinks with very little effort. Great for lattes/ iced lattes and milk frothing is automated. We did have better experience with beans rather than ground coffee though. A few mishaps with ground coffee saw us give up and returned to beans. Each coffee is fully customisable in strength, milk/coffee ratio and temperature which is a real bonus This is a very expensive machine and I would have liked a little less plastic. It is is large and there is noise, so perhaps something to consider if you only have a small or open plan kitchen The milk carafes have crevices that need careful cleaning and I would like a spare for non dairy milk when we both have a coffee at the same time without the need to constantly wash out carafes. The brew group cleaning is easy to forget and a reminder on the touchscreen would be a useful addition Not withstanding a couple of minor points, it makes a great range of quality coffees! Recommend

Sleek design and makes great coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few other Phillips products and thought to add this fully automatic coffee machine to my line up. It has been a joy to use and works great. I especially like the ability to customize my drinks using the touch screen. The touch screen is bright and easy to use, and the built in light makes night use easy. The design of the machine is modern and sleek, blending into my kitchen and the compact design lets it sit easily in place. The milk containers are easy to use and are easily swapped or placed in the fridge; with one button i can make milk drinks which is a delight. All in all, this is a great machine for anyone who wants a fully hands off coffee machine.

A Premium Coffee Experience at Home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment it arrived, it felt like a premium coffee machine that looks great and offers so much more than a standard coffee maker. Setup was really straightforward and took around 20 minutes. The touchscreen guided me through each step, making the process simple even before making my first drink. The touchscreen itself is one of my favourite features it is clear, responsive and very easy to use. I love that you can create your own drink profiles and save your preferences. Being able to adjust and save the coffee amount, water amount and temperature settings means everyone can have their coffee exactly how they like it. I prefer a smaller, hotter coffee, while my partner likes a larger drink, so having separate profiles has been really useful and means our drinks are always consistent. The choice of drinks is amazing, with over 50 hot and cold options available. I have especially loved making iced drinks, with the iced latte and iced macchiato becoming my favourites. It really does make creating cafe style drinks at home feel effortless. The coffee quality has been consistently good, and on the highest temperature setting my coffee reaches around 79°C in the cup, which is perfect for me as I like my drinks hot. I also love that you can use both coffee beans and pre ground coffee, giving you more flexibility if you want to try different coffees or use decaf. The milk system has impressed me too. It creates a lovely creamy foam and works really well for lattes, cappuccinos and iced drinks. The only thing I would have liked is the ability to adjust the milk texture, as some people may prefer more or less foam depending on their drink preference. The design is definitely a highlight. It looks very premium on my kitchen worktop, and I think it is a great size compared to other bean to cup machines it offers lots of features without feeling too bulky. The finish doesn’t show fingerprints easily, and the cup light is a lovely extra touch. I like that you can choose whether it is always on, switched off or only lights up while your drink is being made. The only design preference I have is that I would personally have preferred the milk container to be built into the machine rather than at the front. However, I understand why it has been designed this way, as it makes swapping between milk options for different drinks easier and also makes cleaning more convenient. The SilentBrew technology does help with the grinder noise, which is actually the quietest part of the process. However, I wouldn’t describe the whole machine as silent, as you can still hear the water dispensing, brewing and milk preparation. This is expected with a fully automatic coffee machine and the quality of the drinks makes it a worthwhile trade off. Cleaning and maintenance have been much easier than expected. The automatic self-rinse feature is really useful for keeping the machine clean, although it did make me jump the first few times as it automatically starts when the machine switches off. Once you know it is happening, it is a great feature. The drip tray and grounds container are both very easy to remove and empty, with no mess. I also liked that it connects easily to Alexa through the HomeID app, which is a nice extra feature for a smart home setup. Overall, I absolutely love it. Working from home means it gets used multiple times a day and it has quickly become part of my daily routine. It feels like a premium machine with a huge range of options, excellent customisation, easy maintenance and the ability to create cafe style drinks at home. It has definitely made my coffee routine more enjoyable.

Impressed from the very first cup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Philips 8000 Series Aroma for just over a week now and, overall, I'm really impressed. Setup: Setting it up couldn't really have been easier. The instructions are clear, everything is well labelled and I had it up and running in no time. Using it day to day: This is probably my favourite thing about the machine. The touchscreen is really intuitive and feels much more premium than some of Philips' mid-to-lower range bean-to-cup machines. Everything is exactly where you'd expect it to be and selecting your drink takes seconds. As a full-time working mum, my mornings are usually somewhere between organised chaos and complete survival mode. I don't have time to stand around waiting for coffee, so being able to press one button and have it ready within a minute or two is honestly brilliant. It also heats up quickly, which makes a surprising difference when you're trying to get everyone out of the house. I haven't used the WiFi feature yet but I love the idea of making a coffee before I've even got out of bed on a Sunday morning. That feels like the sort of life upgrade I can get behind. Coffee quality: Obviously, the beans you use make a difference, but compared with other bean-to-cup machines I've owned, this one seemed to produce good tasting coffee much more quickly. Previous machines seemed to need quite a few coffees before everything settled down and stopped tasting overly bitter, almost as though the machine was still figuring itself out. This one was making really enjoyable coffee after only a couple of drinks. Noise: For a bean-to-cup machine, it's actually pretty quiet. It's never going to be silent because it's grinding coffee beans, but it definitely seems quieter than some of Philips' older or less premium models. I think the rubber seal around the bean hopper probably helps reduce the noise because it sounds much less harsh than previous machines I've owned. It certainly isn't loud enough to wake the whole house, which I appreciate. Design: I really like how it looks. It feels modern and premium without being enormous. Although most of it is plastic, it certainly doesn't feel cheap and that doesn't bother me in the slightest. It also doesn't take over the entire kitchen worktop, which is always a bonus. Drinks and customisation: The number of drinks available is fantastic. There are loads to choose from and there are plenty of ways to personalise each one. You can adjust the coffee strength, amount of coffee and/or milk, temperature and more. I've only played around with some of the settings so far, but it's nice knowing I can tweak everything over time. I also really like that there are separate milk carafes for hot and cold drinks. Whether that genuinely makes a huge difference or not, the cold drinks have been excellent. During the recent UK heatwave I probably drank more iced coffee than water, and this machine definitely got a workout. The iced coffees have been brilliant and I'd happily recommend them. The milk froths really well too. The foam is lovely and creamy and seems to last noticeably longer than it did on some of the cheaper machines I've used. Another nice touch is the ability to create up to four user profiles, plus a guest profile. At the moment I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, so I'm basically using one profile and talking to myself. I'm sure that'll change as the children get older and eventually decide babyccinos aren't sophisticated enough anymore. Cleaning: Cleaning is refreshingly easy. I haven't needed to do a full clean yet, but emptying the drip tray is simple and everything wipes clean without much effort. The machine will alert you when this is needed. The milk carafes are probably my favourite feature. They unclip in seconds, pull apart easily and either go straight into the dishwasher or can simply be rinsed under the tap. Hand washing honestly takes about ten seconds, so even on busy mornings it's no hassle at all. A few things I'd improve: Nothing is perfect and there are a couple of things I've noticed. The biggest annoyance is that the milk dispenser doesn't adjust in height. I often use a travel mug, and although the machine has a really handy "to go" option, my cup is too tall to fit underneath the milk outlet. That means I have to tilt the cup while the milk pours in, which isn't ideal. It works, but there's always that slight fear you're about to wear your latte instead. Alternatively, you transfer it from another mug. I've also noticed a very slight discolouration inside where the drip tray slides in. You can't see it from the outside and it's only noticeable when you remove the tray, but because the tray is silver rather than black like on the 5500, it stands out a little more. It's very minor, but of course I've only been using the machine for just over a week. The only actual issue I've had was once when making a cappuccino. It frothed the milk perfectly but then dispensed hot water instead of the espresso shot. Luckily, I happened to be watching it because I was using a glass mug, so I spotted it straight away. It's only happened once, so hopefully it was just a random glitch. Overall: I'm genuinely really pleased with this machine. It's quick, easy to use, easy to clean and makes consistently good coffee with very little effort. The touchscreen feels premium, the drink selection is excellent and the cold coffee options have been a real winner this summer. The couple of niggles I've found are fairly minor and certainly wouldn't stop me recommending it. If you're looking for a bean to cup machine that makes excellent coffee without requiring a degree in engineering before your first cup, I'd happily recommend the Philips 8000 Series Aroma.

Great coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been testing the Cafe Aromis Series 8000 Philips Fully Automatic Coffee Machine for the past two weeks as part of a product test, and I've really enjoyed using it. The biggest standout for me is the quality of the coffee. The espresso is rich, smooth and full of flavour, and it's so convenient being able to make cafe-style drinks at the touch of a button. It's definitely made my morning coffee routine much easier. That said, I do have one small criticism. While the machine offers iced coffee options, I don't think the drinks actually come out cold enough to be a true iced coffee. They're more lukewarm than icy, so I still find myself adding plenty of ice afterwards and extra milk. Overall, it's been a great machine to test and one I'd happily keep using, especially for hot coffee lovers. If Philips could improve the iced drink settings, it would be close to perfect for me.

Stunning machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Philips Café Aromis Series 8000, I've been impressed by how effortless it is to make high-quality coffee at home. The touchscreen display is well organised and responsive, making it simple to browse the menu, adjust settings and save your favourite drinks. Everything is laid out clearly, so there's very little learning curve. The coffee machine also benefits from Philips' SilentBrew technology, which keeps noise levels surprisingly low while grinding and brewing. It's a feature you really appreciate during busy mornings. BrewExtract technology complements this by optimising the brewing process to produce coffee with a rich flavour, smooth texture and excellent aroma. One of the biggest advantages is the incredible selection of over 50 hot and cold beverages. Whether you enjoy a traditional espresso, a frothy cappuccino, a creamy latte or a chilled coffee, there's an impressive choice available to suit different preferences. Visually, the Café Aromis Series 8000 has a sophisticated and contemporary design that looks fantastic in any kitchen. The premium materials and sleek finish give it a high-quality feel, making it just as attractive as it is practical. Overall, it's a well-designed machine that combines convenience, innovation and exceptional drink variety into one impressive package.
