Great to connect iPhone 17 directly to TV via HDMI
Very happy with this. We were getting a lot of issues trying to successfully airplay to our TVS from an iPhone 17. Purchased this to connect the iPhone directly to the TV via an HDMI cable. Success! Better picture and sound and, most importantly, reliable! Fairly small form factor. Not yet tried the charging option.

I've used this device to connect a MacBook Air and an iPhone17 pro to a Toshiba TV (not smart) and it worked without a problem. I note that some reviewers appear to have had connection problems and can offer the following advice. The mobile phone or computer USB C port should support DisplayPort. Some iPhones do not support this protocol, for example the iPhone16e and the iPhone 17e

Bought it as a hdmi dock for the asus rog xboz ally x and screen kept flickering after troubleshooting the devices still no luck.
