Fabulous safety measure
We bought this one week ago, our niece fixed it up for us, we are no good with technical things! Unfortunately she hasn’t been able to get the bell to work properly yet, it rings outside but not in the house. She is going to try it again on her next day off. We were having trouble with youths throwing thing at our house, seems to stopped since cameras are up, fingers crossed

These do not record all the time. They do record when motion is detected and you can set the time between 10 sec and 60 secs in the app .

The supplier has advised the following for the Blink Whole Home Security Kit:
You fix the Blink Video Doorbell by mounting its backplate 40–48 inches (102–122 cm) high on your door or wall, using the included screws and anchors. Mark holes with the provided template, drill pilot holes, secure the bracket, then snap the doorbell onto it.
