The De'Longhi Stilosa EC230 makes it easy to craft proper espresso-based drinks at home, so you can enjoy lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and americanos whenever the mood strikes. This manual pump espresso machine is ideal if you want hands-on control over your coffee without the complexity of bean-to-cup systems, using ground coffee to deliver rich, aromatic espresso with 15bar pressure. The manual steam wand gives you the flexibility to froth and texture milk exactly how you like it, whilst the hot water option lets you whip up an americano or tea in moments.
You'll appreciate practical touches that make daily use straightforward - a water tank with a level gauge to know when to refill, an adjustable cup stand for your favourite mug, and a removable drip-tray for easy cleaning. Bought a few weeks ago after having a similar model, very disappointing that the coffee was very watery with no froth, used the filters and filter arm from old machine and hey presto nice frothy coffee that tastes great.

A good espresso machine at an amazing price
Amazing machine for the money, SS boiler, unpressurised basket and big removable water container. Get the grind size right and it produces a very good quality shot of coffee. I the best results using as soon as it reaches temperature. It can get too hot producing a bitter shot if left a while. Very happy with it Thanks

However, during warm‑up the machine typically makes only a low, brief operational noise that most customers do not find disruptive. When extracting coffee, you can expect a normal pump sound similar to other domestic espresso machines.

If you want a long coffee, make your esspresso then top up with hot water. Dont run extra water through your grinds as this will overwork the coffee and make it bitter
