There is no separate, pre-cut connection piece included in the GARDENA 20m Hose Reel Set box; you create the tap connection yourself by cutting a small piece off the main 20-metre hose.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for GARDENA 20m Hose Reel Set.
The Gardena Hose Reel Set 20m is designed to reduce kinking. We use an angled hose connection and a reel design intended to keep water flowing smoothly while winding and unwinding. This helps prevent kinks and twisting. It is not 'kink-free' but the design is significantly more kink-resistant than a basic hose thrown on the ground.
