The Breville Barista Classic offers café-quality espresso with a built-in grinder and steam wand. It's easy to use once learned, durable, and stylish but has a learning curve and some minor issues like grinder mess and steam wand length.

Easy, fun and versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an espresso making enthusiast, the Breville Barista Classic Espresso Machine is one of the best budget friendly barista machines available. The Burr Grinder makes dialling in your coffee beans so easy and has many settings to find the optimal grind setting for all different beans from light to dark roasts. You can grind your bean to two different sizes, which are one cup grind size ( 13.5g ) or two cup grind size ( 18-21g) and this can be changed to your preference also. The water that pulls the espresso shot is perfect and has the perfect Barr pressure for a barista machine. The steam wand is good to steam your milk for all different coffees and takes just around 15-20 seconds to heat your milk to optimal degrees. However the wand it quite short and doesn’t quite reach the drain hole when heating the wand up before using it. The accessories that come with the product are minimalistic, but that is often the case with many barista machines. The portafilter baskets come in a one cup and a two cup size and are one wall and non-pressurised, which makes pulling the perfect shot easy. I would recommend purchasing some better breville accessories such as a spring loaded tamper, the portafilter is also 58mm. PROS: -Fast and easy to pull the perfect shot - Dialling in made easy - Affordable machine with a built in Grinder - Fun to use CONS: - Grinder can be slightly messy when dosing for a two cup size ( would recommend using a dosing funnel ) - Steam wand is slightly to short Overall I would 100% recommend this machine to anyone with this hobby or anyone looking to start as it is easy to use and extremely well priced. It is also extremely versatile as it can be used as good grinder, it has a steam wand for your milk and can be used to pull the espresso shot.

Easy to use, easy to clean - I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has only just started drinking coffee in the last 6 months, I wasn’t sure whether upgrading from pod machine would make much difference - but I can honestly say I will never go back. The biggest difference is the whole experience. Grinding fresh beans and making coffee from scratch feels more enjoyable, and the flavour is noticeably richer. It is really well designed, the water reservoir is a great size and the machine is surprisingly easily to keep clean. I especially like the little brush that’s included for sweeping any stray ground coffee into the drip tray. I mainly make iced coffee and my partner prefers hot, so he uses the steam wand to froth milk more than me, which is a huge upgrade from our previous machine - the texture it creates is great, much creamier! The controls are super easy to use for someone like me who is new to coffee and overall I am super impressed. It fits neatly onto the worktop and I really love how the coffee aroma spreads through the house.

Great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent coffee machine! It's easy to use, looks stylish, and makes rich, delicious espresso with a lovely crema. The built-in grinder and steam wand work really well, and cleaning is straightforward. It feels like having a café-quality coffee at home. The beans grinder is a bit loud but overall it's ok. Highly recommended!

Changed our love for coffee for the better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful machine. Such a lovely modern design and easy to navigate once you know how. The setting to adjust the amount of coffee grind being dispensed is a brilliant feature. The steamer gets to a great temperature and creates a beautifully glossy milk. The build quality is excellent. Every part feels robust, durable and high quality, from the stainless steel body to the portafilter and controls. It feels like a premium machine that is built to withstand daily use, while still looking great in any kitchen.

Barista-experience coffee machine gives you the real deal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really pleased with this coffee machine. It offers functionally the same experience as operating a large espresso machine like is used in a cafe, with full control over the coffee you make. I've made espresso and a flat white so far, and both turned out very well. However, this means it may not be the most intuititive to use, especially for someone without barista experience. It meets my needs perfectly but things like steaming milk and controlling the bean grinding would require some experimentation and practice for a new user. Nonetheless, the size and design, and clear instruction manual, make this great for at-home use. Some features are noisy, especially steaming milk, but this seems generally unavoidable for espresso machines, and is not overly disruptive. One more minor qualm is that water does not always drain fully from the basket, so can be messy to empty. The automatic cleaning function helps with this though. Overall, fantastic fun to use, makes great drinks, and has an attractive, modern design. It's a coffee maker for people who love making coffee, not just drinking it.

Very good quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I read the instruction a couple of times. I was able to make one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time. Easy to use once understood the process. I like the fact you can adjust the grinder to a slower pace if needed but no matter what setting it grinds the beans very well. It is built well and feels like it will last a long while. I also like the fact it will do 2 expresso's at the same time or 1 double shot for those times when I'm feeling tired and need a pick me up. The frother is decent too especially like the fact I can froth up the milk while the coffee is brewing and pouring into my cup.

Barista in the making ☕️☕️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I went from beginner mode to full expert barista with this machine, if you love coffee like I do, then you will also enjoy making a coffee too and the process, this will give you that! And the result is a barista style coffee at home! It didn’t take long to get the hang of, the videos set up guide made it a lot easier to get it set up and it has handy hints and tips to adjust to get your perfect coffee too. You can use beans or ground coffee too.
