I bought this for a retreat and it does the job. You have to set the time so not super accurate. Small and compact. But it is a little pricey.

handy travel clock
Fairly easy to see and read being a large digital display and having a backlight feature. Easy to set an alarm. handy travel size, battery operated.

Very pleased
Very pleased with this. Intuitive and remarkably easy to set up. The light comes on with a slight touch and is the perfect brightness for me.

Could be better
Neat little clock, but the back-light comes on rather too easily. In a suitcase it could drain the battery. The alarm sound does crescendo, but is still not very loud. Main complaint is that there are no user instructions in the box. You have to scan a QR code or go to a website.

Poor sales information
The clock I wanted to replace received a radio signal from Germany which kept it accurate and managed summer / winter time changes. In the Argos information, it nowhere said that the clock I bought, which looks identical to one I wanted to replace, doesn't have this function. When I collected it from Sainsburys in Whitby I mentioned that it didn't say on the website that it was radio controlled and was told the instructions would be with the clock. Of course, they're online somewhere and it isn't radio controlled either. The previous one came from John Lewis - could that be the difference? Disapppointing.

Neat little clock
Very neat little alarm clock perfect for travel. I haven't tried the alarm as I only wanted it as a clock when staying in a dark Premier Inn. Needs a AAA battery.

Useless
The alarm is too quiet and doesn't wake me up. Also the Argos website recommended buying AA batteries but the clock takes AAA batteries

Perfectly backlit screen for night time!
I bought this for my young daughter's bedroom as it felt like it was an epic challenge to find a bedside clock that didn't tick at all and keep her awake; the last analogue one I bought was quiet for 3 weeks and then started to tick loudly for no reason! Therefore decided to go down the digital route, with of course no ticking! The only concern when researching was the brightness of the display being too much at night, but this is perfect. Very dim but still visible, and a touch sensitive button on top that slightly backlights the screen for around 10secs. Absolutely perfect, 100% recommended.

Perfect size for packing in a suitcase
Small enough to be an excellent travel clock but large enough that there is no problem reading the digits even from some distance. The digits light up at the lightest touch. This is convenient to use at night but it means you will need to remove the batteries when traveling if you don't want them to be flat when you arrive as the slightest movement in your case will probably turn the backlight on.

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Braun Travel Digital Alarm Clock - White.
The backlight is designed to illuminate for approximately 10 seconds only when the Snooze/Light area is touched.
The Snooze/Light control is a touch-sensitive button, so a light touch is sufficient to activate the backlight.
Thanks for using Q&A
You have to go to a website or scan a QR code to get the user instructions. So the previous answer is false. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOX!
Hello there,
Yes, the official instruction manual is included directly in the box with the Braun Travel Digital Alarm Clock in White.
Thanks for using Q&A.
