About this product
The Sony HT-SF150 brings front surround sound to your TV setup without needing a separate subwoofer or rear speakers. This compact 2-channel soundbar uses Sony's S-Force front surround technology to create a wider soundstage from just one unit, whilst the bass reflex speaker delivers punchy low-end depth that makes action scenes and music both feel more immersive. It sits neatly under most TVs or wall-mounts if you'd rather keep your stand clear, and setup's straightforward with HDMI, optical, Bluetooth and USB connections.
With 120W total power output, Dolby and DTS sound processing, and auto power-off to reduce energy consumption when you're done watching, it's a practical upgrade from built-in TV speakers that doesn't clutter your living room. Whether you're streaming a series, gaming or playing music through Bluetooth, the dual-speaker setup balances clarity and bass without needing extra components. You get the soundbar, remote with batteries, optical cable, and power cord in the box, plus a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Check TV connections (HDMI/Optical) before you buy
Bought this for a fairly recent Sony Bravia TV. I should've checked the connections required, but then again, Sony should clearly specify what you need. Your TV needs to have either HDMI-AC (or HDMI-IEEC + optical out), not just HDMI. If you have only HDMI, you can't connect this directly to your TV (only indirectly via another up to date box or sound system). It's all to do with decoding Atmos or Dolby sound recording on films/series etc , and it's way beyond anything I was prepared for. If your TV has optical out, you might be ok (an optical cable is supplied, but note: you will also need an HDMI cable - NOT supplied - why not, Sony?). I gave up & returned the unit. It might be great for all I know!!

Simple to connect
I bought this after a BOSE one would not connect so the sound went up and down with the TV remote- which was a deal breaker. This bar connects via a HDMI cable and is perfect. No need to use the supplied remote once connected. All good, very pleased.
