We bought 2 of these to go with the bunk beds we bought at the same time. On your recommendation we understood these were the mattresses we should have and you were right. They are in very tight rolls when they arrive but miraculously bulk up when released from their plastic wrapping.

It's okay; I'm in bed with my four year old every night until she falls asleep, and this mattress feels like lying directly on the slats for me (although granted, I'm not the intended audience). My daughter hasn't been sleeping through the night either - but hard to say if this is the mattress' fault. I will be buying a mattress topper to see if that makes a difference!
