Great sturdy table and chairs
Good delivery, with good communication. I had to knock a star off as it was slightly damaged. One chair seat top looked like it had been dropped and the corner had chipped off and been glued back on. Argos customer service were good and offered a replacement, full refund or small refund if I kept it. As I had built it and didn't want to dismantle it all and wait for another one, I had a small refund as the chip was more cosmetic. I got the refund straight away which was brilliant. The colour is not white though, it is pale cream but I don't mind that and think it looks better than if it were painted white. The top is solid wood and I built it on my own in a few hours. I would definitely recommend if you are after saving space and something sturdy. Advice check all the pieces carefully before building, as I had missed the small chip, until I came to fix the top of the seat onto the frame of the chair.

Definitely not white
Although it says it is white it definitely isn’t, it’s very very cream. I can not fault Argos for their service, I called them & asked to swap it for the grey & it was delivered the next day & they picked up the white/cream one at the same time. Easy to assemble, sturdy & looks great, just please don’t advertise it as white when it’s not white in the slightest.

Solid wood, nice slim table for breakfast.
Assembled on my own, no help required. Solid enough table and great for where we needed it, small breakfast bar in our kitchen. Only built one chair, don't have the room. Needed it to fit over a radiator on our wall and managed to lower the cross bar slightly at the back legs to get the exact fit under, very happy it's real wood to allow change! Chair foot support bar seems a little slim and vulnerable, but not broken it yet. Added a seat pad for comfort as chair seat very solid.
