About this product
This highly absorbent CATSAN Hygiene cat litter consists of unique mineral granules with guaranteed odour protection meaning your house will stay relatively odour free. Millions of micropores on the surface of each granule absorb moisture like a sponge, safely locking it in. Therefore your cats litter tray will stay visibly clean and hygienic.
Catsan absorbs before odours can develop.

I've tried different brands, but this is by far the best. Also needed a larger litter tray & this is excellent. No more litter being thrown out of the tray!

Impressed to disappointed

I've been buying your product for 20 plus years, but I must say - I've become extremely disappointed with it. For example, our litter tray was only changed last night and I can smell it already - literally 18 hours later.
Catsan is one of the more expensive brands of litter but you get what you pay for. This doesn’t track so no white marks over the floors from my cats paws, and it contains the odour well. Easy to clean as well. Doesn’t stick to the base of the tray.

Doesn't absorb

Does not absorb well at all. My cat has weed in a clean litter tray and all the wee is just puddles together and hasn't absorbed at all. You can really smell a strong urine smell in that corner where the litter tray is
Excellent cat litter, absorbs liquid and smells very well, easy to clean out, does not leave a residue in the litter box on emptying. Doesn't create lots of dust like similar brands do.
I asked this at pets at home they sed non clumping was fine for kittens to eat as my kitten was eating it.

As this is non clumping then I'd say no as clumping can clump together in your kittens stomach, but if there getting enough nutrition from there food and milk theres no reason for them to eat cat litter. They only do this if there not getting the right nutrition, You can buy kitten litter if your concerned

Hi Shan,
I would recommend speaking with your vet prior to use, as this is not something we are able to advise on.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

No idea you would need to ask a vet that question I have never seen a kitten eat their litter. Have you?
