[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great trimmer. I do think it works well if the hair is already short as I had a few issues with it clogging on the first use. After that it was pretty much plain sailing. It didnt irritate my skin and no nicks. It is easy to handle and manauever around my body. A full charge last up to 80 minutes.

Good, but you need fairly short hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was that the groomer did not work... my body hair just kept getting stuck in the comb and clogging it up.... however I soon relaised that maybe it's designed for 'keeping' your body hair trimmed, as opposed to a first time trim. Once I had got my hairs to a decent level the groomer worked flawlessly. It is very easy to use, and works great in the shower. A little bit of shower gel and everything washes away easily. It did not cut or nick me at all at any stage, and apart from the initial clogging it was definitely something I would recommend. Build quality is excellent, and battery life is great too as so far I have not needed to charge it apart form the first time!

Great Kit, excellent for keeping Trim(med)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an excellent trimmer and works really well to create a smooth skin finish. It works fantastically on soft skin areas and leaves no irritation and does not cut the skin at all, even in the most sensitive areas. The blades work so well and do not require more than one or two passes to remove all the unwanted hair. the handle is comfortable and the angle of the shave head works well for the intended areas of the body. This does a very good job of taking care of large areas of body hair and does not cause ingrown hairs like I have experienced with other similar devices.

Finally, a trimmer that doesn't bite!

I was nervous about using this on 'sensitive areas,' but the Triple Protect system is the real deal. It glides smoothly without the nicks or pulling I’ve experienced with cheaper trimmers. The battery lasts forever, and I love that I can just rinse it off in the shower. If you’re tired of playing Russian Roulette with your old beard trimmer, just get this."

Superb addition to any man's grooming routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great addition for a man's grooming routine. It trims back and shoulder hair with ease an, is gentle for use on let's say men's delicate areas. It trims without causing any irritation or nicks. It is easy to handle and is easy to switch between the two trimmers. I would say because of USB charging cable it is easy for travel. The battery life is good. Even when it flashes alerting you to charge it, it still gives you a few days use. Charges quickly.Overall good little addition to my routine.

It’s good but not totally perfect……

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have liked using the Philips Body Groomer (3000 series). It’s comfortable to hold and quite effective on chest / underarm hair leaving a mostly smooth cut. Once you get the hang of using it at the right angle it cuts & glides effectively. I tried it on my down below area (with a comb attached to pre-trim the longer hair) although found it was rather awkward to get a fully even cut due to the angles required for cutting. You need to apply the right amount of pressure which does affect the overall cut. The flexible head of the cutter can also clog a bit with hair so has to be cleaned out. The groomer is waterproof so you can rinse off nice and easy and it can be used in the shower, although I did not try this myself. The groomer has a rechargeable battery which lasts up to 80 mins which means you won’t need to recharge too often. Without the comb attached the cut length is 0.2mm so pretty short. A USB-A charging cable is included but personally I would prefer a more modern USB-C cable and think Philips should change to this standard in the future. Overall , I found the groomer was quite reliable & fairly gentle for trimming and cutting my body hair leaving a smooth-ish finish. You do need to practice in intimate areas and watch out for some hair getting caught in the cutter/comb which is frustrating but cannot be helped depending on the length of hair being trimmed. I would still recommend this product based on my experience of using it.

Great little groomer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions – quality product, lightweight, feels good in the hand. Nice design and fits perfectly in my hand. Easy to handle. In the box – groomer, charging cable (no charger), manuals, cleaning brush and 2mm trimming comb head, soft storage pouch. Charging – around 8 hours for the full charge. Battery life – decent enough, will be enough for multi sessions, no stop use should last around 80 min. Performance – Firstly, it’s waterproof – use it anywhere – bath, shower not a problem. Your choice use it dry or wet. Cleaning – as easy as it could be, rinse it under the tap or use the brush provided. Triple protect system – it will glide smoothly over the skin with minimal redness or irritation to your skin. Designed even for sensitive areas- it will cut hair close to the skin. Use it in any direction if you like, different body areas. It won’t replace your razor as it’s not designed for ultra-close shaving, but as a body trimmer definitely will do the job. Overall – very happy with this groomer. Performance is good, I do like its design, easy to use, and clean it. It does the job and works well in different body areas – chest, legs, arms and sensitive zones. Didn’t had any irritation to my skin. It’s not a high-end device, but for the pric,e you can’t beat it. I would recommend it if you are looking for a great groomer which does the job.
