Another set brought a an award for my son's home education work. He said This build was a little more challenging than Groot, but very enjoyable. He loves the end product with the motion when moved along. This set is now sat on his Lego Star War shelf

A must have set for any Star Wars fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun set to build. Instructions were super easy to follow and build, so great for children and adults. It took me a couple of hours to put together. The end result is adorable, especially the miniature BB-8. You can move BB-8 around and it turns its head with movement. A great set for any Star Wars fan to add to the collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and i love spending time building lego together, but oh boy this set was a challenge. Comes in 569 pieces of 4 separate bags and as usual very detailed instructional book to follow. It does take a bit of time to build and we found it challenging as a multiple times some parts collapsed as it wasn’t sturdy enough. Once built it is great piece - swirl head, wheel to move on flat surface are great bonus. My 4 years old rolled all over our house for his role playing game. For my opinion the recommended age 10+ it’s absolutely right as my eldest 8+ definitely had a moments of struggle or lose interest building it up. Lego sets are greatest for kids and even adults imagination and creativity and motor development.

Beautiful little droid build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be one of my favourite LEGO builds yet. Solid little bricks that bring so much joy to this house!! The build itself was fun, clear and not too fiddly, which made it really enjoyable from start to finish. Instructions as clear as ever! Watching it come together piece by piece was so satisfying, and the details on this little droid are spot on. The best part? It actually moves when you roll it along, which makes it even more fun and brings it to life. Such a clever touch and a total crowd-pleaser for any Star Wars fan. A perfect addition to my Star Wars LEGO collection – small but mighty, and definitely one I’d recommend for both building and displaying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Building this kit was a blast! The mix of bricks and Technic parts really kept my mind busy. Inside the box, each build stage is in separate bags, and some tiny pieces are even in bags within bags. This is super important for keeping everything safe and the table clear until you need the bricks. The illustrated guide is also in the box, and just like you'd expect from Lego, it's really easy to follow. The colorful bricks in the internal parts of the build make the guide images clear and simple to follow. I was happy to see a LEGO brick tool included in the box – a real lifesaver for builders. I didn't need their missing brick service, but it's good to know Lego has one. FYI: sometimes there are a couple of extra bricks in the bags! Good to know so you don't panic like I did, thinking I missed a step. The build quality is awesome, and you end up with a fantastic-looking BB-8 model. This kit was clearly well-designed and gives you a great-looking build after a few fun hours.

Not like BB8, the build is very flimsy, I purchased to complete the line up, C3PO, R2D2, Chewie it doesn’t work. The only Star Wars LEGO or any LEGO set I regret buying.

The dimensions are approximately 28 x 26 x 7.5 cm once fully built. It’s a fantastic display piece and a real favourite among Star Wars fans
