Looking after a small lawn without the noise and fuss of petrol? The Einhell GC-HM 300 is a manual cylinder mower that cuts cleanly using five high-grade steel blades. It's recommended for lawns up to 150 square metres so you'll keep compact gardens tidy. The ball-bearing-mounted spindle delivers smooth operation as you work. You'll adjust the cutting height across four settings between 13mm and 37mm. The removable grass basket holds up to 16 l before you need to empty it. This push mower needs no motor so there's zero maintenance hassle.
You'll switch between heights quickly to suit the season or lawn condition. It's got a 30cm cutting width that handles neat edges and open spaces. The steel blades stay sharp through regular use on typical garden grass. A parking position lets you store the mower safely when you're finished. You won't disturb neighbours because there's no engine noise to worry about. The ball-bearing design reduces effort as you push across the lawn.

Excellent Hand Mower
Just purchased to make the first few cuts on a newly seeded lawn. Easy to assemble and lightweight. Ideal for purpose, being very easy to push and having very sharp easy cutting blades. Height adjustment mechanism seems fine. Slight letdown is grass collection, but not enough to prevent 5 stars. Very pleased with purchase.

Effortless mowing
This is a very compact and lightweight mower that's very easy to push and manoeuvre - ideal for a small garden and copes fine on a less than perfect bumpy lawn. It produces lovely neat clippings (rather than churning the grass up like my old mower did) even on damp grass. I've found the collection basket does a reasonable job of catching the clippings. I would recommend!

Smart looking mower, which seems to be well made. Fabric grass collection basket looks flimsy, but I am not intending to use that.

Great for a small garden
So far so good. It has replaced a similar mower that lasted 15 years so hopefully this will do the same. Cuts well and easy assembly. Good cutting height adjustment. Easy to clean and maintain. The cuttings basket not great but ok.

Slight problems, but excellent at cutting grass
The mower's very good and easy to handle after I finally got it set up. The instructions did not mention I needed tools to fix the screws/bolts and were not supplied in the box. As I am not a DIY expert with very few tools, a friend had to use his to tighten the screws in place for me. Also, the grass box does not collect the cut grass very well as it fly's all over the place. However, it's easy to carry and store and the blades are excellent at cutting the grass so on the whole, I am very pleased with my product.
