Could be better
This clock mostly works okay but it could and should be much better. Every button push emits a very loud beep which is too intrusive for a bedside device. The backlight is too bright, even when dimmed so must be turned off. It cannot be turned on temporarily which would mitigated this issue. The projection is too bright, too big and at an awkward angle (90° to face). To position comfortable on the ceiling I have to turn the clock face away from the bed. I reduced the projector aperture with a sticker with a hole which I made. This reduces the brightness so it is just about acceptable. The projector is disabled during MSF clock update, which can take many minutes and a low battery indication shows on the clock face if no battery is installed. It is a shame that this tidy little projector clock with auto time update has these small but annoying flaws. On balance, with the modification I made, I decided to keep it.

Don’t buy if your relying on the projector
It’s ok as long as you don’t need to know the time while it’s trying to connect to the radio signal, which is 1 am, 2 am or 3 am depending how successful it is on the first attempt. The projector will turn off while trying to find the signal. Very annoying. I’d return it only I threw the box out before I realised.

This was purchased for my disabled and bed bound husband who frequently wakes during the night and is unsure what time it is now he doesn't have to put on his bedside lamp to check the time

Great buy
I bought this for university as I was struggling to make it in time for my lectures, and it’s been gods gift. It’s very loud so you are assured to wake up on time for anything you need, and in darkness it is very bright so helps you to get a good sleep pattern

Good clock and projection.
Bought this to replace our old projecting alarm clock. Projectors are great for glancing at the time during the night, without waking up entirely. This one was easy to set and the radio time connected easily and quickly. Projection is good, although there is limited range so on my side of the bed, I have to turn it a little to get it the right way up. The clock colours are impressive, although not really for me. What I like best is the dimmable click face, which I find restful at night. The one irritation about this clock is the very loud beep when you press any button to set the alarm, change the colour etc. Battery back-up prevents power cut alarm disasters!

Great clock, great price
My previous clock of this type stopped working, this is an ideal replacement at a competitive price and no need to wait for a delivery. The projection display is good and the main screen is adjustable for brightness so is not intrusive at night, set up was particularly easy.
