About this product
The Argos Home Mia Mid Sleeper Bed Frame helps make the most of smaller bedrooms where floor space matters. It's a raised single bed with a pull-out desk and shelves underneath, so there's a dedicated spot for homework, drawing and hobbies without needing a separate study area. The solid pine frame provides sturdy support, while high protective sides and a secure ladder make climbing up and down safe for children aged six and over. Playful cut-out hearts and bevelled edges add a bit of character. The white finish works with most bedroom colour schemes.
The ladder can be fitted on either side to suit your room layout. Safety rails stand 32 centimetres high to prevent rolling out during sleep. The bed must be fixed to the wall using the included brackets for stability. Wooden slats support the mattress, which should be no deeper than 16 centimetres to maintain safe rail height. The frame holds up to 120 kilogrammes, so it suits older children and adults too. Two people recommended for assembly, all fixings provided. Part of the Mia bedroom furniture range.

Brilliant bed for my daughter
This arrived by prompt delivery in two large boxes. They are heavy to move so ensure you have physically fit enough people to move them into the appropriate room. It goes together lovely - took me around an hour to construct but I would allow longer. My daughter loves it! Thanks Argos

Good midsleeper bed for small bedroom
I bought this for my 7 year old daughter as she needed to move into a full size bed. Her bedroom is small but this mid sleeper bed gives her space for a reading nook under the bed, and the pull-out desk is handy. It was reasonably straight forward to build, and so far I’m happy with the purchase.

Pretty bed
Was worried it would be small as my daughter is 9 and quite long but it's great size like a single bed. Very pretty only downside is desk pulls all the way out, I wish it had a safety clip so it only came out so far .

Ladder measures approximately 36cms and from end of bed frame to ladder measures approximately 155cms, lastly end of ladder to other end leg approximately 4cms

The height of the corner posts/legs is 111.3cm. The height from the floor to the upper edge of the back safety panel is 110.8cm. If the sill is lower than that, it should fit. If you are fitting it under a window, you would also need to consider factors such as the age of the user and ease of access to the window, especially when it comes to smaller children where there's a risk of them climbing onto the windowsill from the bed and an increased chance of them falling.

The frame of the Habitat Mia Mid Sleeper Bed Frame with Desk - White measures 195.3 x 101.5cm (L x W) which accommodates a single size mattress (190 x 90cm). The dimensions will come from the overall size including parts that may "stick out" such as the ladder.
