The Sony WF-C510 true wireless earbuds are made for everyday listening, whether you're commuting, working out, or just getting through your day. These are Sony's smallest and lightest earbuds yet, designed to sit comfortably for hours without feeling bulky. They upscale compressed music files to bring them closer to their original quality, and the built-in equaliser lets you adjust the sound to match your taste. With 22 hours of total battery life including the charging case, IPX4 water resistance, and multipoint connection, they're ready for whatever comes next.
6mm drivers deliver high-quality audio across all types of music, drawing on Sony's decades of audio expertise. A 5-minute quick charge gives you 1 hour of playback when you're in a rush, and a full charge takes around 90 minutes via USB-C. Ambient Sound Mode lets you hear your surroundings without taking the earbuds out, and touch controls on the side make it easy to manage playback and calls. Bluetooth 5.3 provides a stable connection up to 10m, and bass control helps you fine-tune your listening experience. The charging case and hybrid silicone rubber earbuds are included.

Disconnecting issues
I brought this in September 2025 and have had constant issues since when getting them to disconnect from my phone, it often takes 2-4 tries of me putting them in and out of the case, they have also connect while in the case during both the day and night draining the battery. I choose these as they were affordable and didn’t come with AI (why I would need ai in earphones I don’t know), I’ve found that the sound quality is good and I’ve had no issues with anything else, however the constant connecting and disconnecting issue has become frustrating.

These were recommended and I bought them. Music listening goes well, although calls quality isn't the best for the person on the other end of the phone. Callers have commented that my voice sounds muffled and sometimes sound like I am losing connection or reception. These fit better than others I have had. Sometimes they still slip and fall out of my ears. Battery seems ok, I've not had them for long so cannot comment on that.

the sound is good, but I have a problem with keeping the ear buds in place. They keep falling out and I am afraid I will loose them. I am hoping to be able to exchange them for ones with a better fit

Yes — you can listen to BBC Sounds on these, as long as you play it on your phone or another Bluetooth device and connect the earbuds to that device.
The WF-C510 works with devices that support the A2DP Bluetooth profile, and the earbuds connect via Bluetooth 5.3. So the steps are:
Pair the earbuds with your phone in Bluetooth settings
Open the BBC Sounds app on your phone
Press play, and the audio will come through the earbuds
So the key point is that BBC Sounds plays on the device, not directly on the earbuds themselves.
