Screws unsuitable

I bought this 01/5/26 the airer is fine but the screws provided were unsuitable for the product, 1 screw head rounded off and another, snapped off completely, would recommend using own screws

Good product - be aware of space above when mounti

I bought this item to replace one from Dunelm that lasted less than a year (different design). This one seemed more sturdy in the design and less likely to suffer premature failure due to the way it is mounted on the wall. This appears to be the case. It holds a whole load of washing easily, doesn’t seem like it will break from the wall under the weight which is positive. However there is an issue based on the install - be very wary about where you try to install it. I followed the instructions - but the pictures on the item description on the website don’t make it clear how it opens and closes. The instructions say to mount it 1-1.5m above the ground level - which I did. (At 1m) But sadly this means when it is open; it’s almost made for a very small person & isn’t high off the ground. Due to the nature of the wall I was installing it - I couldn’t mount it any higher because when it closes the bar moves up and will clash with anything above it. Something to consider before purchasing, if there is no clear height above it, you cannot mount it in the best way to have it at hanging height. I would suggest using the 1.5m height to hang, or it’s low to the ground. When closed upto the wall - the unit is 1m from bottom of mounting plate to the very top part of the plastic. (So 2.5m total from ground level - if mounted at 1.5m) When open it is basically at the level you mount it to; if you don’t have this room above, would probably not recommend. It comes with plugs & screws - for brick mounting. Was a bit finicky to get the plate to marry up with the airer itself but once that was managed; worked perfectly fine. Comes with a cover. Useful - but be aware of headroom when mounting to the wall.

Great Size, not too big

Its great because its not quite as big as the others so neat to pack away however it has to go up so high that unless you are 6ft 4 tall you can't put the cover on it after use
