Outstanding Upgrade - True Cinematic Experience!
The Sonos Era 100 SL has completely transformed my home theatre setup when paired as surround speakers with the Sonos Beam Gen2 and Sub-mini. Whilst the Beam and sub-mini already deliver impressive performance on their own, the addition of the Era 100 SL speakers elevates the entire system to an altogether different level. The surround effects are remarkably precise, creating a genuinely immersive soundstage that makes films, television programs and gaming experiences far more engaging. Ambient details, background effects and directional audio are reproduced with exceptional clarity, making it far easier to appreciate the finer elements of the soundtrack. What impressed me most is how seamlessly the Era 100 SL integrates into the Sonos ecosystem. Setup was straightforward, calibration was effortless, and everything works flawlessly as a single, cohesive home cinema solution. Considering the performance on offer, the Era 100 SL represents excellent value. Whilst not the cheapest surround speakers available, the sound quality, premium build, reliability and ease of use more thank justify the price. Combined with the Beam Gen2 and Sub-mini, the system delivers a level of cinematic immersion that rivals far more expensive home theatre packages. If you already own a Bem Gen2 and Sub-mini, investing in a pair of Era 100 SL speakers is, in my opinion, one of the best upgrades you can make. The improvement in surround sound is immediate, substantial and well worth the cost.

Filled a large room easily
This is my first Sonos speaker setup. It won't be my last. Paired to a Sonos beam that was given to me two days earlier. I wanted to extend it to a home theatre so bought two Era 100SL's and 5 minutes later I was in the cinema haha! No complaints' whatsoever. Great sound, clear speech!! and adjustable tone bass and treble controls. Recommended

Excellent speaker!!
Excellent speaker, more than enough bass, clarity etc. Easy to use. Not quite as immersive as I’d hoped - if you want sound that doesn’t feel like it comes from a single source, you’ll probably need two on different sides of the room, but in general it sounds brilliant and is a huge upgrade on our previous speaker.

reject snooping sonos
thought i was puchasing a portable speaker (can size...) (oft online mistake?) (always check dimensions!) (arrgooose???) so... sonos speakers are sound awesome.... no question... however... the fact sonos products are not plug in and play is DISGUSTING... SONOS require email... wifi... scanning for other products and link... they require location services to be enabled on phone... ...app download... they require wifi to allow bluetooth conections???? (also... a sonos can scan a room with soundwave to apparently help optimise you sound...) REJECT SONOS (AND BATMAN?) until they can just make amazing products and let you kick the tunes! peace truth
