The Barista Express allows you to grind the beans right before extraction, and its interchangeable filters and a choice of automatic or manual operation ensure authentic cafe style results in no time at all.
The 250g built-in conical burr grinder grinds coffee beans on-demand to deliver the right amount of freshly ground coffee into the portafilter. Adjustable grind settings and dosage control is simple and intuitive, giving you control over the grind size no matter what type of bean you're grinding.
The Barista Express has PID temperature control, maintaining the water temperature within plus/minus 1 degree celsius. Assuring the nuanced flavour notes of the bean are perfectly balanced. The milk steamer textures the milk to a velvety mouthfeel creating silky microfoam capable of poring latte art.

Fantastic coffee machine - top notch
We bought this coffee machine after a lot of research. It is a great machine. It’s not a plug and go. You have to learn from trial and error how to make the perfect coffee and after 2 weeks we have mastered it. We no longer will be buying coffee from the cafe. We are really thrilled with it and 100% recommend it. You wouldn’t find a better coffee machine.

Broken within a Month
This was a great machine and produced fantastic coffee. Then the pump system broke within a month. Pressure tests fail the majority of the time to less than a bar, extraction gives less than 50ml of water. I have reported to customer services and am seeking a replacement.

Have owned the Sage Heston Blumenthal equivalent model of this machine for many years and had excellent performance from it until it finally stopped working. Therefore, didn’t hesitate to buy this latest virtually identical Sage model. It really is a great machine and, being new, is much more efficient - heat the milk so much quicker than my old one. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommended.

Having checked the manual I don't think this would work Sanjay as you need to be able to lift the water tank straight up to take to off and put it back in place again. You also need to be able to open the bean hopper and have room to fill from the top. Please see manual below if you would like to check:
