Great fish feeder.
Got this because I was away for 10 days. Found it better than block feeders as it didn’t over feed my fish and discolour the water. Would recommend.

Not much good
Despite promises of water resistance after just 3 days flake food clogged up.i can't see how this can possibly work horizontally if there are no padels in food compartment to move food forward towards outlet.not fit for purpose in my opinion and to expensive, will be returning to argos

Good product
I got this just to be sure that our fish it will be feed while we are away in the weekend. At the end I’m using this every day so no need to remember to feed him anymore. Just checking from time to time if the container still has flakes is . It was a bit hard to understand how it s working but now after I figure it out how to set up and understand it he way it’s working , im really happy with. No more stress to come back home quick to feed the fish ( we have only one for the moment) . One advice after understanding how it’s working is that if you use flakes to smash the a bit before putting in the container. Otherwise I’m really happy and the food it’s always fresh and not damp at all .

Didn't work. Poor quality faulty product.
This feeder simply didn't work. After inserting the batteries the screen flickered then died. After some fiddling it came alive and I programmed it but it died again within 2 hours and that was it. Poor manufacture and poor quality control. Took it back to Argos and they couldn't give me a refund because I had used a virtual credit card (which can only be used online) and they needed a physical card to process the refund. Ended up with a gift voucher which I'll probably put in a drawer and forget about. But this is not about Argos. I like Argos. But the Tetra fish feeder was a great disappointment.

Cheap feeder, despite the so-called moisture free the food gets humidity, number of feedings per day selectable, number of turns selectable, quantity selectable. Not bad overall, you get what you payed for

Avoid total waste of money
Useless bought this to feed for a week The day before I left it was installed no more than 24hts later the pellets were clumpy so would not drop through when rotated total waste of money

"Please note that the MyFeeder is a automatic feeder and should be sited above the aquarium, it is not supposed to be submerged.
It is splashproof and NOT fully waterproof."

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say "If you mean that your tank has a lid with a flap, then you can attach the Tetra Automatic Feeder on the opening of the flap on the lid of the aquarium"

I have not come across any battery that last 4-5 days.
If you have please do let me know. Batteries can last for weeks. Can the supplier give a simple answer as to how many days food does the feeder hold?

Having spoken with our supplier they have advised as the feeder runs on batteries, it all depends on how long the batteries last.
I would suggest to replace the batteries and see how long they last before you go on vacation.
Otherwise, have someone check up on the feeder to see if it is still running after about 4-5 days.
