Johnstone's Magnolia Matt Emulsion is a high quality coloured emulsion for walls and ceilings. It is a low odour, water based formulation that is quick drying. The contemporary matt finish is ideal for disguising minor surface imperfections.

I ran out of paint and I was unable to go to a diy store , but am very great that Argos had the colour of paint I needed and could click and collect it . So able to complete the room I was painting.

I have done a lot of decorating in my time, and know that paint quality can very significantly between the cheap and expensive. I was pleasantly surprised by this paint, as it gave an excellent finish (no patchiness), a good solid colour all over, and great opacity. I used it in conjunction with the Argos Coral roller set. Was used in very hot weather so I thinned with 10% water and it still applied really well. The quality of finish seems as good as some of the premium brands, but at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the choice and will try to remember to use this brand the next time I have a decorating project on the go!

It is hard to say as it will depend on the amount of coats needed however Dulux advise on average you’ll need about 5 litres to cover all walls in a 4m x 4m or equivalent room.
