I’ve used these shears a few times and they seem to be good quality blades with a smooth but solid hinge action. The handle length is easy to alter and locks into position quite firmly.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Steel Telescopic Edging Shears: They are designed for cutting the grass at the edge of a lawn and not the lawn itself. They will however cut the grass edges if they are long and wet.
