Dont forget though that Windows can cache filenames so if you just sleep your PC rather than power off then the directories you have already visited can still show up in file explorer. You just wont be able to open the files until you unlock the drive.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the WD My Passport 5TB Portable Hard Drive - Black: When you have a password setup on the drive, you will only be able to see the names of the files when you have typed in the correct password.

The WD My Passport 5TB Portable Hard Drive - Black is not said to be completely compatible as not all devices are guaranteed to work with the PS5 console and you can't connect the drive through a USB hub.
