Good Value Laptop
Keyboards better than I expected, Touchpad is responsive and makes it easy to move pointer and select things which is a great suprise as my more expensive Dell trackpad is a nightmare to use. Screen is very good nice colours and blacks and video is clear and vibrant. Battery life is good, watching videos does shorten it a bit, the Battery charges quickly and I have set it to only charge to 80% to preserve Battery life as it recommended on 1st boot. The laptop is well made but not heavy so shouldnt be a pain to transport about and keyboard doesnt seem to be cramped for my fat fingers. It doesn't make a lot of noise or put out a lot of heat (unlike my work 14" i5 Dell) so not going to turn a room into an oven. Ports are standard limited number for a light laptop but you can get cheap hubs to fix that. You only get Windows these days and a trial version of Office 365 with A Anti Virus suit i wouldn't touch. Programs open quickly and down loading and uploading things are quick too. It was very slow on 1st power on as after connecting to the WiFi it loaded updates for windows 11 rebooted, then loaded more windows 11 updates and rebooted 2nd time. It then loaded update for Asus app and windows again taking about 30-45min from entering WiFi Details to me down loading and installing Chrome browser but has been superfast since.

great quality laptop at budget price
Bought this to replace my old desktop pc so glad i did , the laptop performs brilliantly ,was so easy to set up and has a great battery life too. The display is crisp and clear and very responsive, i thoroughly recommend this laptop .

Generally good for price but missing features
Starting on the good points: - Overall, this is a relatively lightweight but 'solid' feel laptop. - keyboard - key travel is just right for fast typing - screen is very crisp - touchpad is big and responsive - processor speed seems good for word processing, high data spreadsheets, animated powerpoints and using copilot. But (little things but they mount up) - camera / sensors don't work for face recog unlock - lack of light / backlight to illuminate the keyboard - battery life on high performance is more like 3 hours. - home, end, pgup and pgdown buttons are on the arrow keys and require function button
