S26 is a winner
My old phone was a Samsung S10 and it did me almost seven years of solid service so I wanted to get the flagship Samsung model when looking for a replacement and I'm not disappointed. It's got the solid build quality and the form factor that I was used to but everything seems to be vastly improved and I'm very happy with this purchase.

In the UK, the Samsung Galaxy S26 5G comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty as standard. For devices purchased within the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, Samsung often provides a European Standard Warranty which may allow for repairs across member states, but this does not extend globally."

Our supplier has confirmed that Google Messages is the default messaging app on the Samsung Galaxy S26 5G. While Samsung has officially discontinued the "Samsung Messages" app for newer models like the S26, you can still choose to use other apps.
How to Change Your Default App -
If you have downloaded another messaging app and want to use it instead of Google Messages:
Open Settings.
Tap Apps.
Select Choose default apps.
Tap SMS app.
Select your preferred app from the list.
