The freshness of bean-to-cup coffee in a machine that is easy-to-use. Simply pop the beans in the grinding mill, select your preference – from coarsely ground to fine, choose your strength and the number of cups you want, hit the button and go. No more fiddly filter papers with the permanent filter. It has a removable holder so that you can remove it for rinsing and cleaning.
Check water levels without having to lift the lid and see how much is going in as you fill.
If you just want to grab a quick cup mid brew, the pause & pour feature lets you briefly remove the carafe to pour a cup whilst pausing the flow of the rest of the coffee.

Great coffee machine whether using pre-ground or whole beans. Quickly makes good strong coffee. Only downside I have found so far is the instructions in the manual are not as clear as they could be.

I chose this one as it had good reviews. Its a great looking addition to my kitchen. The grinding isn't to noisy and extraction from beans flavour is acceptable. It holds temperature so it can be supplying your next cup to be as good as the first 😉

Wish I hadn’t bothered
I was so excited to get this but while its pleasing to look at the coffee is dreadful, lukewarm water best ( I drink it black) the water reservoir can’t be filled for the day, it has to have exact amount for each use AND its not quiet do not be fooled

Big machine, coffee grounds everywhere
I bought he machine when I only want two mugs of freshly ground and brewed coffee at different times during the morning or early afternoon. The carafe only measures from six cups, although the window on the reservoir does indicate 2 and 4 cups.. I have not yet worked out how to empty the basket of grounds and clean it for my second mug. My plumber has advised me not to flush the grounds into the waste system, so I have a bagged bin, which I give to a friend for his garden. Flushing with water is the only way to clear the grounds from the filter. The instructions in the accompanying leaflet for using the timer or incomprehensible.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it works and the coffee is pretty decent I like the built-in grinder. So you can do the beans to cup and get that lovely smell. easy to use. And the timer works fine. you can change the strength of the coffee too. Very easy to clean and set up. The instructions are well written which I found easy to follow I love it

The supplier has advised the following for the Russell Hobbs 22000 Chester Grind & Brew Coffee Machine:
"Sadly, this model (22000) isn’t able to make an espresso-sized drink. It’s designed specifically for brewing standard coffee and only has a limited selection of settings, so it doesn’t provide the pressure or functionality needed for a true espresso.
That said, it’s a lovely little coffee maker in its own right, very straightforward to use and great for producing a consistent, smooth cup without any hassle. It’s a nice choice if you’re after something simple and reliable for everyday coffee.
I completely understand wanting something that caters to both your preferences, though. If espresso is something your partner enjoys regularly, it may be worth looking at a machine designed specifically for that style of coffee."
