Great stylish quality toaster

It’s stylish whilst having a timeless design, the cream with chrome detailing looks expensive and it feels robust and of a great quality when you use it. Easy to use, just plug in, pop in some bread, turn the dial to your desired brownness and push down the platform. It toasts evenly and quickly and is much better than my old appliance!

Aesthetically pleasing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How aesthetic is this toaster. Its a very classic vintage looking toaster which is similar to other more expensive vintage looking toaster. I love the aesthetic. It is just a normal toaster but is soo pretty. It toasts well and does have a knob for how many minutes you want to toast your bread. I personally love the way it looks and it looks well made too.

Not great

Even on level 4 this is the level of toast I am getting. It’s quite pale and it’s definitely not even. Actually very disappointed as I think it looks so nice in my kitchen. I’ve been using it for a while thinking it just needed to be “broken into” but not really.

Stylish 2 slice toaster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Russell Hobbs Hanley Jasmine 2-Slice Toaster is a useful addition to my kitchen. It looks great on my the counter, due to the simple but classic design and the cream finish blends nicely with the rest of my appliances. It feels fairly sturdy too, not flimsy like some budget toasters I’ve had in the past. In terms of performance, it does a good job of toasting evenly once you find the right browning level. The dial gives you a decent range from light to quite crispy, and it’s been consistent from slice to slice. I mainly use standard sliced bread and crumpets and both come out well. The defrost and reheat buttons are handy, I use the defrost function quite a lot for frozen bread and it works as expected. One feature I really like is the high-lift function, which makes it easier to get smaller pieces out without burning your fingers. The crumb tray is also easy to slide out and clean, which helps keep the area tidy.
