Looks lovely in garden
A great buy assembly 2 people a bit tricky in some parts but really rather easy plenty of ventilation weather hasn’t changed been very hot and sunny so haven’t experienced rain or wind and the fabric is durable

Lovely gazebo, not rain proof but it was in a bad storm so hard to judge. It has been beautifully made, quite easy to put together but definitely need two people. Absolute bargain for what you get.

I bought this gazebo a few weeks ago and put it up straight away. All I can say is I LOVE IT. It's really well made and seems very sturdy. Its lovely to have both fly nets and full side panels, as they are separate you don't have to use them both or you could not have either of them at all if you didn't want them. The curved roof means water does pool on the roof so no need for the annoying holes that the rain leaks through inside the gazebo. It even has a handy hook in the middle of the roof to hand a light from if you wanted to.

Once the upright poles (framework) are in the place, the canopy is a separate exercise to install. So, yes, you could use it without putting the canopy on as, from a structural point of view, as long as all the tubes are assembled in the correct configuration, it should be ok to use without it.
You might want to consider though that the roof sections do provide some limiting to diagonal movements so you may find it flexes a bit more in these directions.
