About this product
The Jakarta Wood Shelving Unit provides practical display space for books, decorative items, and houseplants without cramping your room. It features a wood effect finish over lightweight hollow-core materials, looking solid without weighing down your floor. Eight cube spaces across four fixed shelves have generous depth for larger items. The dark wood effect adds warmth to sitting rooms or hallways, while the retro-inspired grain pattern brings character. Part of the Jakarta collection, it can be matched with other pieces.
The shelving unit stands tall at 165cm, making good use of vertical space in rooms where floor space is tight. Each shelf holds up to 2kg, suitable for books, photo frames, or light decorative pieces. Wall-mounting fixings are included to keep it secure and prevent tipping, especially important in family homes. The wood effect finish wipes clean after dusting. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings and instructions provided. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.
Thoughtfully designed, the chunky construction won't weigh heavily on your floor coverings either, thanks to the hollow-core construction. Its finished with a distressed hardwood-effect grain that's always in vogue.

Nice looking furniture
This was easy to construct and includes artfully designed stickers that look like the wood veneer and which hide the screw holes/screws. It's nice piece of furniture. Not solid wood, but that's reflected in the price. We think it should last a long time, and are happy with it.

Looks nice, spacious, does the job, thought was made of pure wood so was disappointed to realise was compressed saw dust. A bit unsteady after putting together and begun chipping of during assembly. But looks good and doing the job.

We do not stock a matching sideboard in this range, only slim 5 drawer chest, coffee tables, tv units and side table.
The wood colour is multi-tonal so it is not possible to define it with a single shade of brown.
