Replaced my 2nd gen faulty one
This was to replace my existing generation 2 one, which went faulty after 4 years. This chime one is my 3rd one. For some reason they fail as soon as they bring in a new version.

The Ring door chime is easy to set up and connects instantly. It has a good loud volume. It’s a little expensive for what it is.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring Chime 3rd Gen (2026): Yes, you can configure your Ring Doorbell to only sound for button presses and silence motion alerts. In the Ring app, go to Devices > [Doorbell Name] > Notification Settings > App Alert Tones, and set Motion Alerts to "Silent" while keeping Ring Alerts active. Alternatively, toggle off "Motion Alerts" completely on the device dashboard.

Hello there. The Ring Chime (3rd Gen) needs to be accessed by the Ring App which is not compatible with Blink so this is not going to be suitable. Thanks for using Q and A.
