The quality of the product seems very good. It's early days to assess the longevity of it but out of the box I'm not disappointed. The charging speed is slow which is standard for these types of chargers but the LCD displays all the charging information. The 10m cable length option I chose is perfect. It's portable with good weatherproofing and short circuit protection built in. Thumbs up from me.

Does what it says
Needed a home charger for my Phev. This one worked well and very easy to set up, straight out of the box. I was worried about overheating, however, the product stayed cool, not hot at all and feels really safe and durable. Very happy with this purchase, excellent value for money.

Feels good quality
Just bought this to get me through till the new EV charger is installed. Bought this from a shop as amazon seemed to be selling the same thing but sending out a cheaper model. It is slow but I'm limiting to 6A as I'm not sure about the rating of our outdoor sockets and taking no chances. I'm getting 5 miles per hour of charge. If I want a fast charge I'll go and pay for one. The cable is good quality. The overall length is 10m socket to socket.

Masterplug 10m Mode 2 EV Charging Cable with UK 3-
Needed the longer cable checked a few reviews & decided to go for this one. Used 3 times now with no issues in my opinion seems to be very good quality chunky cable easy to use with good display, some comments have stated the display is hard to see?? I have had no problems with that very clear. I fitted a EV rated home socket & just plug in to charge no signs of anything getting hot, again a few comments have said did not last long & needed a replacement that I can't comment on so fingers crossed. Not used in the rain again unable to comment on weatherproofing yet.

Good charger with responsive menu controls
Does the job so far. Cable appears sturdy and charging menu buttons are responsive. Countdown timer can be set in 30 min increments which is a nice touch. Haven’t had it out overnight in the rain yet so can’t comment on waterproofing but looks to be of sturdy construction.

Yes, as previously advised it is supplied set to 6A output offer but can be adjusted (up to a maximum of 10A) using the buttons on the front as per the enclosed instructions.

Current regulations require that any socket to be used with a Mode 2 charging cable should be suitable tested and certified for this purpose and marked "Suitable for Electric Vehicle Charging" or with the standard BS 1363-2/EV (sometimes shortened to BS 1363/EV), which we're not aware of any extension manufacturers' being.
