Are these paints non toxic and suitable for painting babies wooden toys?

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Reeves Acrylic 12 Vibrant Colours Tube Paint Set: ''The Reeves brand is designed and tested as fine art materials, not as toy or children’s product coatings. This means that they are not certified as safe for use on items intended to be handled by children.

Fine art products do not undergo same evaluation and testing required for materials used on toys and baby items.

We assess the safety of our formulations by hazard risk assessment in according to the United Nations’ Globally Harmonised System (GHS) and the European Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) ((EC) No 1272/2008). The EU regulations cover all products available to industry or the general public within the EU and classifies dangerous substances into classifications, for example harmful or flammable. Any artists' material which falls into any classification must be labelling accordingly. In accordance with these legislations, we also supply safety data sheets which list any hazardous components.

According to this regulation these products are non-hazardous.''
