Rubbish
Purchased to replace HP printer but returned it as the build quality was so cheap, plastic and flimsy. Couldn't download the Canon print app, nothing was straightforward. I know this is a cheap printer but compared to other cheap printers this was absolute rubbish.

Great printer
This is a super printer, it scans too. I felt like it could have had better instructions as I hate qr scans.. but I managed it anyway. I was prepared for problems but it printed first time!

Doesn’t print A4 on photo quality format.
Wanted to print on A4 acetate sheets, so bought this but quality whist printing on normal quality was poor and if printing on ‘photo’ quality, the size of the picture was only 3x4 ins (or some like that), so it wouldn’t print A4 size whilst on photo quality print. Tried to take it back, but of course they wouldn’t change it, so gave it to a friend that needed a new printer!!!

This printer only has 2.4GHz support; most routers have the ability to broadcast both 2.4 and 5GHz without the need to disable one or the other.

Yes, you can just purchase your own cartridges when you need to. This model would only be a subscription ink printer if you were to choose to activate the plan. The regular non subscription inks that are available are the PG-575/XL & CL-756/XL.

No, this model only takes the PG-575 & CL-576 as well as I & XL versions.

It does and you can if you scan to a computer and scale that way, you won't be able to scale on the printer itself.
