Jo Malone Poppy & Barley Eau de Cologne - 100ml

I was at Edinburgh Airport and treated myself to one of my favourite Jo Malone scentsóBasil & Nerolióalong with the Blackberry & Bay body cream. The assistant kindly gave me a sample of Poppy & Barley, so while waiting for my flight, I spritzed some on, andóOMG, WOWóI loved it! I know mint isn't listed as an ingredient, but to me, there was a subtle minty note, which I adore in perfumes. Jo Malone used to do Mint and Raspberry years ago, which I loved pairing together, but sadly, they discontinued it. I do wish they'd bring it back, as I'm not too keen on Jasmine & Mint. Before I caught my flight, I rushed back and purchased a bottleóI just couldn't leave without it! I loved smelling it throughout the flight, and although some reviews say the scent doesn't last, on me, it lingered beautifully for hours. Another one added to my list of Jo Malone favourites! Next time, I'll be getting the Poppy & Barley body lotion to make the fragrance last even longer.??

Smells lovely but does not last

It is a beautiful scent hence why I chose this after trying on many others and having different ones over the years. Unfortunately, the smell just does not last on this one compared to others I have had previously. Such a shame and very disappointing for the price :(

Gorgeous fragrance - sadly does not last

I love this fragrance and it is perfect for the summer, I use it daily but need to re-apply often. I am really disappointed as other Jo Malone fragrances I have received compliments on hours after wearing, but this one unless you have just sprayed it, you are wasting your time.

Lovely smell but no staying power.

Firstly I was very pleased with this gift off my partner. The smell was great. Unfortunately it did not last more than an hour.

Worst purchase ever

I received this perfume as a special birthday gift and I an extremely disappointed with it, once sprayed cannot smell it after 5 minutes and have received no comments about it unlike other perfumes does not last at all, not worth the money

One of the best everyday fragrances

Let me start by telling I'm not a huge fan of Jo Malone fragrances, unfortunately. I'm more into candles, diffusers and bath and body section, cause I prefer more stronger fragrances. However, when I purchased a present for my husband an amazing assistant gave me a sample, just to try as a paring to my Wild Bluebell ( I had it as a present and asked how I can make it more unique on me). On February we were travelling to Edinburgh and I took this sample not to take my full size perfume. It was, actually, love from first spray. Gorgeous smell, on me stays quiet long ( which was a surprise for me), in clothes stays the whole day. My husband also felt in love with this amazing perfume so much, that even presented me the full size perfume. By the way, in combination with Wage&Sea Salt body cream smells even better.

Nice smell

I bought this cologne after receiving a complimentary sample from my previous purchase. It has a lovely fresh smell which I like but it doesn't stay long . However, I am still satisfied and will always be Jo Malone customer.

Beautiful.

I received this for a gift at Christmas. Given it is floral it isn't one I would have even sniffed if shopping for myself. I usually go for muskier/woodier ones. Wow - This is just divine!! My favorite perfume at the minute. Comforting, warm, but fresh at the same time. It lasts well on my skin but doesn't give me a headache like some perfumes do. Not sickly floral either. I will be re purchasing for sure!
