This 12pc complete Dec Set contains Fabric rollers for Emulsion Paint and a paintbrush and mini foam rollers.
The paintbrush can be used with both Emulsion and Gloss paints, and the mini foam rollers are entirely to apply Gloss paints.
So the answer is it contains different applicators to allow application of both Emulsion and Gloss paints.

The handles on the paint roller have an open non-working end for compatibility with most push-fit extension poles. It won't be suited to a screw in brush handle though.

Wider context: most extension poles in the UK are either 'push-fit' or have a 'threaded end'. The latter is for screwing paint roller frames onto an extension pole, but common that 'threaded end' poles are sold with an adaptor that allow them to be used with 'push-fit' frames too. For the avoidance of doubt, all CORAL brand extension poles are sold in this way.
