Worst lego I've owned
Overly complicated and very weak in its construction. Simply falls to pieces as you are trying to finish it as its held together by flimsy bar connectors.

Sir Lewis Hamilton Helmet
Not finished building it yet but on building the interals you’d be forgiven for thinking you were building some kind of alien on a stand! It’s not until bag 3 that you start seeing the yellow bits.

A must for any Lewis fan
I received this set recently for fathers day and slowly built it over 5 days, it amazed me the skill needed to design this set and incorporate all the pieces so that the outer 'skin' of the helmet would all attach at the correct angles to make it look authentic which it does from all angles. Some have found this set fragile and i did find the lower right jaw line assembly wouldnt stay on for any length of time but the left hand side stayed attached after 1st fit, so that meant it was likely my fault and once i rechecked piece locations and found where i had went wrong, and then refitted the right hand side assembly it has remained in place ever since. Only slight downside i have found is that i have found is i have a misaligned red printed line on the rear of the helmet on piece 6639671 and i have already been in touch with support to get a replacement item but this does not detract from the superb build of an iconic formula one drivers helmet

Fab build!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My partner is a massive formula one fan so this was perfect, he absolutely loved doing this build and it was very easy to do, it’s not too big so it’s good to have on display in the office!

Value for money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pieces on this are of a high quality, the detailing on the pieces are second to none, would 100% recommend any Lego or formula one collectors to add this to their collection

too complicated, too many unnecessary parts
what a complete pain this is to assemble. you get near the end and put a piece in and then more pieces fall off - this surely isn't supposed to be this difficult. so many unnecessary pieces, bits where it's impossible to work out how they fit without other bits falling off - might have to just superglue it all together as I go. the most frustrating lego kit ever (and I've got the Lando Norris one to do too!!). Please improve.

Nice set, but improvement to the build needed
It was a really nice set, especially the end result but it was quite fiddly, the book wasn’t always super clear in instruction as they normally are. I think the weight of the helmet itself was too much for the stand? Personally required more patience for me than the Ferrari technic Daytona for example or other complex sets I have

Avoid - It’s not fun
I have several Lego helmets from other ranges which have been all been enjoyable to build. They offer the right amount of fun and challenge to feel good about the purchase (because these are not cheap). From the get-go of this F1 Helmet, you get a sense of that this is not going to be as straight forward or sturdy. It honestly doesn’t feel like a master builder designed this. I would even go as far as to suggest that AI was used to design this and then it went immediately to production. I lost count at the amount of times I had to reseat pieces because you end up breaking other pieces off while installing others. There are so many smaller bits used to attach the actual face plates that it’s just not sturdy. I’ve felt more frustrated with this than a than any actual enjoyment. My wife had the same issues as me with the Leclerc and I had to help her with a reconstruct because after trying to attach those stupid little red discs, everything just seems to crumble (and it happened with me now as well with the 44 Helmet). We’ve got the McLaren helmets but both of us aren’t looking forward to it. I’d caution anyone looking at the Ferrari helmets, it hasn’t been designed well at all. Holding thumbs for McLaren.

Proper collector’s item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Schderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet is a great Lego set for boys at any older age. It even comes with Lewis Hamilton minifigure. The building process was really fun and challenging in the good way. Some section were quite detailed, especially the curves of the helmet, so it never felt boring. The printed details and signature plaque make it feel like proper collector’s item rather than just a toy. In overall the build was enjoyable, the details are impressive and it looks amazing when finished.

Clear instructions and fan to build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im currently building the lego Ferrari Lewis Hamilton helmet and I'm almost finished. The instructions has been amazing, very clear and easy to follow and the builds has been enjoyable so far. The details of the helmet looks fantastic, love the colour and the design once it's done it will be a beautiful piece. Even before completion it already looks impressive! A great set for formula fan and lego.
