Dream Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a double American style fridge freezer with an ice and water dispenser and it has absolutely lived up to my dreams. It is incredibly spacious and the water and ice dispenser is brilliant and well used by the whole family! No regrets!

Replacement of my 18 year old LG fridge freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had my last fridge freezer for 18 years although this one is OK it appears built down to a price compared to my last one no drip tray smaller ice cubes slower water dispensing and controls harder to actually operate the most annoying for me is 18 years of grabbing a handle to open it that is no longer there but that is more a me problem than a product problem my last LG lasted 18 years which is why I bought another one hopefully it will last as long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great and the ice maker and water dispenser are in use daily. The huge door shelves have swallowed most of the fridge contents. Just need an egg storage tray to make it perfect.

Excellent purchase looks great and has mass of space fro both fridge and freezer. My only comment would be is that perhaps potential purchasers should be warned re the possibility that door width could be an issue for delivery.

Product design improvement ideas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small design suggestions for improvement. 1. By having inside light at top means bottom shelves can get dark. A better idea would be to run a light strip at the back. 2. Doors open too freely once pulled. Often I'd like to just open the fridge door only a bit to get an item quickly without the need to open fully. 3. Inside baskets and shelves feel cheap and damageable. I am very happy with the capacity. Hope you find these helpful.

GSLC40 FRIDGE FREEZER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. Only a 2 year guarantee, OK so compressor is 10 years. Last one had a 10 year guarantee and lasted 11 years. All good now and working just fine. Ask me what I think in a few years' time

Concerned for the long term

Seems the water filters were initially a bit of a concern along with changing the filters along with the quality & water taste concerns which have been even more complicated looking online. The ice tray motor for the automatic ice dispenser broke down in under 3 months awaiting a replacement. Feel a little uneasy with 24 month warranty now. Hoping for the best.
