About this product
The LG GSLC41EPPE American Fridge Freezer is one of those big side-by-side units that sorts out the storage issue in one go. It's got space for roughly 35 bags of shopping spread between a generous fridge section and a proper-sized freezer. The Linear Cooling feature keeps the temperature steady within half a degree, so fruit, veg and fresh stuff stay fresher for longer. The Total No Frost system means you're never scraping ice off anything, and the Smart Inverter Compressor checks what's actually needed and adjusts the cooling accordingly, which keeps things running smoothly.
There's a non-plumbed water dispenser with an internal tank, providing chilled water without a plumbing connection, plus an ice dispenser for crushed and cubed ice. The fridge has 4 glass shelves, 2 vegetable compartments, and an egg tray. The freezer has 4 storage compartments with fast freeze. Features include electronic temperature control with display, internal lighting, open door alert, and high temperature warning. It runs at about 36dB, has an energy rating of E, and stands around 179cm tall. The doors open both ways, handy for tight kitchen layouts.

Our Review of GSLC40PYPE silver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this a few weeks ago and we are really pleased with it. The fridge is particularly spacious and we’re still struggling to fill it! The door pockets are really deep and are plenty big enough for the 4 pint plastic bottles of milk and tall enough for the 2 litre bottles of lemonade. The fridge is well lit and the bottom 2 drawers are plenty big enough for meat and salad and they have a really quiet smooth opening and closing action. The freezer is a good size and again decent drawers. The water is filtered and chilled and it makes a constant supply of ice. We chose this model to replace a 20 year old Whirlpool American fridge freezer with ice and water (no filter). We liked the look of this one because it looks like a 4 door ‘French style’ but it’s actually a 2 door. We had to wait a week with no fridge freezer because it was out of stock but it was definitely worth the wait. The water tastes significantly ‘smoother’ from the LG. with the filter. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.

Dream Fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a double American style fridge freezer with an ice and water dispenser and it has absolutely lived up to my dreams. It is incredibly spacious and the water and ice dispenser is brilliant and well used by the whole family! No regrets!

Replacement of my 18 year old LG fridge freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had my last fridge freezer for 18 years although this one is OK it appears built down to a price compared to my last one no drip tray smaller ice cubes slower water dispensing and controls harder to actually operate the most annoying for me is 18 years of grabbing a handle to open it that is no longer there but that is more a me problem than a product problem my last LG lasted 18 years which is why I bought another one hopefully it will last as long

LG fridge freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great and the ice maker and water dispenser are in use daily. The huge door shelves have swallowed most of the fridge contents. Just need an egg storage tray to make it perfect.
