Lighter than previous models but a major flaw
Much lighter than the previous Shark vacuum we had, although it does feel very plastic-y. The vacuum only comes with a crevice tool, no other tools. Suction is good and the maintenance with cleaning filters seems a lot easier and simpler than on the previous vacuum. My biggest issue with this model is that when you detach the base to 'lift away' you can no longer plug the main pole into the bottom unit to clean under beds. On the previous model, you detached the main unit and and re-inserted the pole into the base unit; you can't do this on this model as the pole does not go into the base unit. This is a baffling and ludicrous decision by Shark in my view so the bottom line is, if you are expecting to be able to use the bottom section to clean under beds, you can't so don't buy this model. (We have had to keep our old vacuum just to do this, which kind of made the new purchase pointless)

Stood up well to commercial use
We bought one of these for our cleaning company nearly 2 years ago and omg what a machine ! We clean 5 houses a day and this vacuum is the best we've used. We've trialled several different brands but this has been the best! Superb suction, easy to use nozzle and never gets hot! Sadly the head has come to the end of its life so we will be replacing that but id recommend to anyone !

Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner
This is my first upright vacuum cleaner, as I was advised that my new carpet would benefit from being cleaned with a "beater bar". I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's a light machine, with very good suction power, even on the minimum setting. It's also a lot easier to empty than the old Dyson that I used to have, but that was nearly 30 years ago, and I'm sure technology has moved on a lot since then. It's well-designed, and an absolute breeze to use.

Amazingly effective vacuum cleaner!
What an amazingly effective vacuum cleaner! At the discounted price, it makes it the best value vacuum available. As a test, I vacuumed a carpeted room with our existing machines and then with the Shark. The result was actually surprising and a bit gross; half filled with dog hair (from the previous owner) and dust! As it’s so powerful, the filter needs cleaning regularly, but a small price for the deeper level of cleaning.

A good hoover
A good hoover at a good price. Bought this hoover after reading the reviews. I already have a cordless heavy to maneuver hoover. This one has strong suction, it moves well on carpets and hard floors. But it is still a little heavy for me. I like that you can unattached the hose from the main body of the hoover when doing stairs. It has only been a few weeks so only time will tell whether its my favourite!
