Assembling furniture or tightening loose fittings? The McGregor 3.6V Cordless Screwdriver is a compact power tool that handles everyday screwdriving tasks with ease. It's got a 5Nm maximum torque for driving screws into various materials. You'll work in tight spots using the rotating two-position handle that adapts to awkward angles. The front LED light illuminates your work area while the back torch helps you see into dark corners. This cordless screwdriver includes a Li-Ion battery so you're ready to start straight away.
You'll swap between tightening and loosening with the forward and reverse function. The automatic spindle lock lets you use it as a manual screwdriver when you need precise control. It's lightweight at just 0.41kg so your hand won't tyre during assembly projects. The rubber over-mould grip stays comfortable through repeated use. LED charging indication shows battery status clearly. This cordless tool comes with a Type-C charging cable and three 25mm screwdriver components.

MacGregor electric screwdriver review
Bought to replace a Black & Decker screwdriver. This is much better. Converts from gun to straight for access, has a torque adjustment like a drill, battery indicator and LED flashlight incorporated in handle. Battery life is good. So glad I bought this and was offer at the time of purchase.

Excellent, Versatile Screwdriver
I think this screwdriver is great value for money (especially at the offer price of £11.25). Very pleased it's USB-C charging and compared to my old screwdriver (a Parkside PAS 4 D6) it seems to have more speed and power, it also has a rotatable handle, built-in torch and lots of torque settings.

Bouty tool
Small and adequate
Seems pretty good for the small size and weight, has a reasonable torque despite this. Good for smaller tasks but nowhere near the power or speed of a DIY drill which shouldn't be expected. It comes with three pozi bits, charging lead and - unexpectedly - a very powerful focused beam torch in the handle section. This is in addtition to the small LED which illuminates the working area. The torch cannot be used to shine on the work while using the screwdriver but would be great to see 50 metres away at night, probably worth the price for this alone!

Torque, light and voltage are the same as numerous other models available on line but it comes with next to no extras or case which allows the price point to be lowered considerably. Great if you already have all the bits.

If putting curtain rails into a wall you may need a drill to screw holes into the wall. If putting into wood this should be ok.
