The AGFA DC5500 is a compact digital camera for casual photography and video. With a 5-megapixel sensor (interpolated to 24 megapixels) and 8x digital zoom, it shoots point-and-shoot images via a 2.4-inch LCD. Face detection recognises 1 face, image stabilisation keeps shots steady, and the built-in flash handles low light. Continuous shooting at 30 fps captures quick bursts, and HD 720p video at 1280x720 records moments with sound.
Weighing just under 90g and measuring roughly the size of a deck of cards, it's genuinely pocketable and easy to carry around. The camera is shockproof to handle the odd knock or drop without worry. It accepts SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards up to 32GB (sold separately), giving you plenty of storage for photos and video clips. The Li-Ion battery is included along with a USB cable, though you'll need a separate charging device. With red-eye reduction, a self-timer, and a maximum ISO of 400, it covers the basics for family snapshots and holiday memories without any fuss.

Totally over expensive for expected performance. Dark shots, poor quality and limited usage types for pictures. Even as a standard camera, it's so basic. Was expecting more even as a camera for my child to take away on a trip, it just doesn't perform as a basic digital.

Got this on Tuesday. Returned Wednesday. Yes I expected cheap and cheerful because of the price but this is just cheap. Horrible plastic, very fragile and doesn't even come with a wrist strap. Very poor quality. Straight back in the box and returned.

Stopped working after 1 month.
Bought this for my 10 year old son, he really enjoyed using it. The battery died about a week after we bought it and it has not turned on since regardless of charging it just wont turn back on. Very disappointed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the AGFA DC5500 Digital Camera Pink: ''The internal memory can only store a few photos for test purposes, these photos will be lost when you turn off the camera or remove away the battery.
It is necessary to insert a SD card into the camera before using it.
This camera supports SD memory card up to 64 GB (but not included).''
