Very good features
I bought this cooker two weeks ago and it was delivered last week. It had to be assembled as it had an eye level grill which is why I ordered this cooker as my previous cooker had the same facility. I read the manual about the assembly process and proceeded to put it together. I did have to get a new tube and gas sealant from a local plumbing shop but I managed to complete the assembly in a few hours. Very satisfied with completion and I have been using it since and it's fine. One good thing is that the grill pan can be pulled out and it stays in place while you turn the meat. Also it has a storage space at the bottom for cooking pans, like the previous cooker had. It also has a light for the oven. Very satisfied so far. It's also easy to clean the grill frame as they recommend rubbing cooking oil onto it first to prevent the meat sticking to it. Good machine.

Burnt on outside cold in the middle.
Looks great grill works fine as do the burners. Oven is rubbish it cannot cook food at recomended temp. If I up the heat it burns from the outside. I seem to have to cook items nearly twice as long as instructions say.

Beko eye level cooker
I’ve replaced my Flavel eye level grill with this one,pulling out the grill is noisy and not as smooth also the burners are very slippy you can’t stir food etc without holding on to the saucepan handle for your dear life 😁 or it would definitely slip off and onto the floor,sadly there’s not many options for companies that make this type of cooker anymore.

I. Fought this and added extra to have it fitted but they didn’t have the part so had to pay someone to fit it and have the part so basically paid twice as I couldn’t find anyway to get a refund on the fitting through Argos,cooker works fine though.

I bought this cooker a few weeks ago and I love it no more bending down for the grill.It has a stroage at the bottom for a few pans so now gave more room in cupboards. Installation was very quick. Would definitely recommend

Lovely looking cooker
The cooker looks great & is easy to use. The only problem is the oven, still trying to work it out 2 weeks later. Put it on gas mark 5 & it will just warm your food. Needed to put it on about 7 to actually cook anything. The hobs are great though, all different sizes & the big one at the front is wonderful

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Beko KA52NEW HLG 50cm Single Oven Gas Cooker - White.
I can confirm that the Beko KA52NEW cooker does not use a push‑pull (bayonet) gas connection. This model requires a standard fixed, threaded gas connection, which must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer in accordance with UK regulations.
The appliance is not designed to connect via a bayonet‑style fitting.

Our supplier has advised that the Beko KA52NEK 50cm Single Oven Gas Cooker plug and electrical connection on this model are required to power the ignition system, oven light, and timer functions. Once the oven has been lit, the gas burners themselves will continue to operate without electricity. However, if the plug is removed from the socket:
The electric ignition will not function, meaning the customer would need to light the burners manually with a suitable gas lighter or match.
Any electrical features such as the oven light or timer will not operate.
For safety and convenience, we recommend keeping the appliance plugged in during normal use.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Beko KA52NEW HLG 50cm Single Oven Gas Cooker - White: the standard depth of the appliance is 60 cm. When the oven door is fully lowered, the total length from the back of the oven to the front edge of the door measures approximately 90 cm.
This measurement ensures that customers can plan for adequate clearance in front of the appliance when the door is open, allowing safe and convenient access to the oven cavity.

Previous answer from Dianne is incorrect. Although she is flagged as Staff she obviously does not know much about this cooker, so, unless Beko have changed the components between the original answer be posted and last week, 30th April 2026, when mine was delivered, I can categorically state that the storage compartment has a DROP DOWN DOOR - just like the oven.
